About this property
NUMBER 4, pet friendly, character holiday cottage in Ironbridge
Number 4 lies in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire, sleeping two guests in one bedroom.
This cottage has one double bedroom with a Smart TV, along with a shower room, a kitchen, and a living/dining room with a decorative log burner only. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and an espresso machine and for entertainment there is another Smart TV, WiFi and an Amazon Alexa. Outside, there is allocated parking for one car across the road, and a front patio with furniture and a water feature. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a smoke-free property. You can find a shop in 0.8 miles and a pub in 0.1 mile. Note: Due to the age of the property, there are some low ceilings throughout. Number 4 is an idyllic choice for a romantic getaway.
Amenities: Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, espresso machine. 2 x Smart TV, WiFi, Amazon Alexa. Fuel, power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and stairgate available on request. Allocated parking for 1 car across the road. Front patio with furniture and water feature. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.8 miles, pub 0.1 mile. Note: Due to the age of the property, there are some low ceilings and steps throughout.
Region: A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
Town: Ironbridge Gorge is famous around the world for being the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The area is no longer industrial, and nature has reclaimed the majority of the previous industrial sites, creating a unique and picturesque wooded valley. The gorge is now a network of trails, bridleways, and rural lanes, and the charming settlement is notable for housing the world's first iron-made bridge, built between 1777 and 1779. The community boasts a wonderful selection of pubs, restaurants, shops, and tea rooms, and the Ironbridge Museums Trust is made up of ten industrial and Victorian themed museums, including the thrilling Blists Hill Victorian community.
