The Liddel Dutch Barn is a stunning architect designed ‘Dutch Barn’ combining tranquillity with a touch of luxury – it definitely puts the GLAM in glamping!! Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the Liddel Dutch Barn is set right next to the River Liddel the sound of the river can be heard throughout the day and night adding to the properties charm and relaxing qualities.
The owner’s flair and attention to detail are evident from the moment you arrive. The open plan living space is equipped to the highest standards with Smeg appliances, a lovely wood burner for those chillier evenings, a sumptuous kingsize bed and a deep Victorian cast iron bath in the luxury bathroom. The icing on the cake is the large sports infrared sauna – perfect for soothing tired legs after a long hike or bike ride.
This luxury accommodation would be perfect for both walkers and cyclists as there are an array of walks and hikes suitable for all ages and fitness levels right from your doorstep so you can discover the beauty of the surrounding countryside at your own pace. The Liddel Dutch Barn is just 6 miles from Kielder Village, home to Kielder Castle with its tearoom, country pub and restaurant which offers a variety of meals. The property enjoys even less light pollution than Kielder and the Observatory where you can enjoy the awe-inspiring dark skies experience is only a 10 minute drive away. The property is ideally situated for the Winter Wonderland at Kielder Park in December.
Enjoy time at Kielder Waterside Park where a variety of water sports and outdoor activities can be enjoyed as well as a gym, swimming pool and gift shop.
