Carry on to the summit of Swifts’ Hill where you will see breathtaking views of Gloucestershire, the River Severn and even Wales. The surrounding woods, especially the ancient beech of Frith Wood, are clothed in bluebells in Spring. With a scenic 20-minute ramble past Fletchers Orchard, blackberry hedges and hay fields, you will reach the Woolpack in Slad, of ’Cider with Rosie’ fame.
