Great little apartment

It’s a nice area that feels safe, but it was way too far away from the sights for us unfortunately. The good is that it is clean and nice. Very simple, but nice. The neighbors blast music until 11 every night however. If you want to go to sleep early or visit in the apartment- it is extremely annoying. We actually got up to see where it was coming from, but to no avail. We were there a few nights, and it happened every night. It also was too far away for us. After reading the reviews we thought it would be ok, but If you want to be really removed from the tourist areas- it’s a good fit. But part of being in Rome is the enjoyment of the history, and we missed that. Last time we stayed closer in, and I think I préfères that. It’s too bad that all the beds are in the same room, as it makes it hard for any privacy. Even if you could havé rolled one out into the hallway or anything? Unfortunately It also felt like you are just “another renter”. Everything is thought of, but nothing is personal or puts you first as a visitor and guest. There’s a constant feeling of, yes- we thought of that- but you will be the one to be charged if something goes wrong. The system was created so that the apartment works well as a rental and you feel like a renter. We were stuck in traffic during our checking time so had to pay the extra fee when we arrived late. We were reminded many times of all the reasons we would be charged extra if things went wrong. The owner was very responsive which was nice.
