About this property

Beautiful Cabin in the White Mountains - Torreon Resort in Show Low

If you're looking for peace, quiet, and nice cool weather, look no further. Our recently purchased cabin has been redecorated, with flooring, paint, furniture and decorations. Relax in the tall pines and enjoy outdoor living at its best in the beautiful fresh mountain air. We have 3 decks around our cabin for you to use and enjoy the beautiful forest views. 1 deck has 6 chairs and a gas fire pit to use when it is a little chilly. 1 deck has a table and 6 chairs that can be used for dining, playing cards, playing games....and also has 6 burner gas grill for you to use as needed. The front deck a wooden rocker and a wooden 2 seated glider....
Not far from our cabin you can enjoy hiking, fishing, golfing, restaurants and shopping.
Some examples are Safeway (10 min drive), Fool Hollow Lake (10 min drive), Bison Golf Club (10 min drive), Show Low City Park, Show Low Aquatic Center, Show Low Museum, and several hiking/biking trails. A scenic hour drive will get you to the Sunrise Ski Park for wonderful snow skiing, or with neighboring lakes that provide some of the best trout fishing in the State!

Please Note--there are only 3 parking spots for our cabin. 1 spot in the garage and 2 more on our driveway. Please do not park in the shared driveway or on any of our neighbors driveways......Thanks.

Relaxing Christmas Vacation

Six family members, including our 3 young children, stayed here for a week over Christmas. The home is actually even better than we had hoped for, based on the listing photos. They went all out with Christmas decorations which was unexpected but extremely appreciated. The layout of the house is perfect for a family or group of friends. There is a big open living area, with an open kitchen and dining area. The large master is off of the kitchen, with the 2 other bedrooms loft bed (which was basically as nice as a 4th bedroom) upstairs. Three sides of the house have a large deck which was great for relaxing while the kids played with pinecones in the yard, and during warmer months would be perfect for evening drinks. The neighborhood was SO quiet, in all the best ways. It really made you feel like you were away from the city, yet you are only a quick drive from the grocery store. The owner was very responsive, and the house had everything we needed. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and this was one of our favorites.

Just the Getaway We Needed

What a beautiful home in Torreon! We had a quiet, restful weekend which is exactly what we needed. The home is immaculate and beautifully furnished - we were very comfortable. The outside deck was our favorite place to sit with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Our first night there we saw 7 squirrels and (gasp) a very friendly skunk! Thank you so much for allowing us to be your guest!

Perfect cabin

Yearly my wife and her parents take a getaway. I love Show low and this was the most perfect cabin for us. Could easily fit 4 more but better with just us. Wound up staying in every night instead of going out. Just that lovely and comfortable.

A little slice of heaven

Our stay was as perfect as could be. Each morning we enjoyed sitting on the porch by the fire, sipping hot chocolate and watching all the birds. A couple of mornings a family of deer came to graze. The cabin was stocked with spices, condiments and small appliances so you wouldn't have to go purchase the needed extras. Our host's, Pam and Brian promptly responded to any communication and were very welcoming and attentive to any of our needs. The cabin itself is adorable and in a great location in Torreon. We played lots of pickelball and rode bikes (we brought our own electric bikes because Torreon is quite hilly.) We enjoyed the great selection of board games they had for us to use. They also had a ping pong table and corn hole which we played frequently. There are two patio's, one is great for barbequing and enjoying dinner outside. I can't say enough how much we loved our stay at this cabin. Like I said earlier, it's a little slice of heaven! Thanks Pam and Brian for providing us with an amazing cabin to make such wonderful memories.

We really liked the house. It was stocked with everything we needed including extra linens and lots of games! The only thing we noticed is none of the bathrooms had soap for the showers so we did need to make a run to the store and get some. But overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

birders paradise

Our Merlin Bird App found 26 species of birds in the back yard from the deck. We had a wonderful time. Saw a huge rabbit and squirrel the size of a medium dog. A great place to observe wildlife.

Weekend getaway

This property was exactly what we expected. Upstairs were 2 bedrooms and a loft and downstairs a master suite, kitchen and living area. The outdoor spaces were perfect for enjoying the rain, our coffee or just the cool weather. The house was clean, the owners responsive and the location ideal. We absolutely loved our stay!

Best Romantic Beautiful Cabin!

The location of this cabin is perfect! The nice gated entrance into the property is well kept. Loved having a garage to park the car. The minute you walk in you just have to say awe.....The beauty of the large windows with the nature shining right there in front of you. The cabin is spacious and romantic. The couches were comfortable you never want to leave as you look at the tall ponderosa pines. We totally enjoyed sitting out on the large porch with the fireplace for hours. We enjoyed feeding the birds and our little friend the squirrel. The cabin is even more beautiful than the pics that are shown. We went fishing at Woods Canyon. This property also has a very family friendly Family center with arcade games, movies, ping pong and video games, basketball, volleyball and pickle ball..plus plus :) with friendly host.The host of the cabin, Pam and Brian were very responsive, kind and caring. They warmly answered any questions that we had promptly. We definutely will come back again! This cabin is MAJESTIC!

Perfect location and beautiful house and property!! The owners Brian and Pam were fabulous. Gave us all the information we could have ever needed up front and were available for questions throughout our whole stay! We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend! The kitchen set up was great as well as the outdoor grill and firepit! Beautiful area for walking or biking! It got below freezing while we were there and the gas fireplace in the living room was so nice! We would love to stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!

Torreón Summer Escape

We had a wonderful visit. The property was very clean and just as pictured. It felt secluded in the forest and private. The hummingbirds provided us with entertainment daily with their antics and games. (Thanks to the many feeders on property) The afternoon storms were fantastic with thunder echoing. Beautiful cabin!

Brian and Pam have created a wonderful sanctuary to escape the Phx heat. Their cabin is exceptionally clean and well appointed. They are both very kind and responsive when we had a question. We had an amazing time and hope to come back this winter..

We closed on this cabin in June of 2017, and re-did quite a few things... We love our new cabin and are excited to share it, as well as spend time in it ourselves. We live in Gilbert, Az--Pam is a retired 4th grade teacher, I work in sales in Phoenix. We feel extremely blessed to have a place to go to in the mountains.

Why they chose this property

Pam wanted the big window that shows out to the forest, and this house gave us that. We LOVE Torreon and all the amenities that it offered...

What makes this property unique

Beautiful windows that look out to the forest....3 decks that give you different views of the forest...wonderful, peaceful setting...
