On the first floor you will find the bedroom and the living room space, which are decorated with mid-century Scandinavian furniture as well as one-off vintage pieces, and boasts with views over the meadows that stretch out around the priory. The Gallery doubles as an exhibition space, as all art on display is available for sale. Due to the lofty open plan structure of the space, the main source of heating are the large wood burners on each floor. There is ample firewood for your stay, but please be aware that the Gallery space is huge and takes a while to warm up, there are plenty of cozy sheepskins and blankets, but please pack some warm clothes too. The bedroom is fitted with an electric heater and comes with an ensuite shower room and a toilet. It is separated from the main space by hessian and silk curtains for a secluded, peaceful sleep in our luxurious kingsize bed. Guests are also provided with the finest bedlinen, White Company towels and robes. In addition, you will find a pair of woollen socks as a present upon arrival. Hairdryer and hot water bottles are also made available.
We offer the option of purchasing a candle-lit dinner, cooked by our local caterer and set up on an evening of your choice, to give our guests the full experience of countryside magic. A fully equipped kitchen space with hotplates, oven, kettle, crockery and cutlery can be found on the ground floor. Upon arrival, you will find the fridge stocked with local organic eggs, bacon and milk along with complimentary homemade bread, muesli, jams, tea and coffee. We are also happy to recommend the best local restaurants and pubs and assist in making reservations.
The reservation can be extended to four people by renting our shepherds hut, which is situated on the grounds and sleeps two people. Bear in mind this addition requires sharing the shower facilities, as the cozy hut comes only with a double bed and a stove for heating. One well behaved pet is allowed by prior arrangement at an extra cost.
Please note that all bookings at this property are by request only, please contact us to confirm any reservations.
£ 50 additional fee for a dog.
