About this property
Aqua Vista- seafront cottage, Cellardyke
Aqua Vista is a welcoming and homely cottage by the sea in the charming fishing village of Cellardyke. Just steps from the historic harbour and with the sea wall forming the outer boundary of the patio it’s as close to the sea as it’s possible to be. With a sociable open plan layout to the ground floor Aqua Vista is ideal for couples, friends and golfers who want to make the most of the spectacular location. The charm of this traditional stone-built cottage with pan tiled roof combined with excellent setting directly on the Fife Coastal Path and the modern conveniences expected of a high-quality holiday home make Aqua Vista the perfect choice for your next East Neuk break.
The lounge has a welcoming and warm feel with a wooden floor, comfortable furnishings and wood burning stove, ideal for gathering around on cooler evenings. The dining kitchen flows seamlessly from the lounge and is a bright and modern space where you can enjoy a lazy brunch or evening meal using some of the fabulous local produce. From here there is a sunroom with seating perfectly positioned for taking in the spectacular views. The small patio area offers a further space to soak up the views. A WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double room with enviable views and a twin room decorated in neutral shades for a relaxing ambience. The bathroom has a rainfall shower over the bath and a bespoke stained-glass feature to the door which adds further character to this charming home.
Cellardyke is one of the fishing villages that make up the East Neuk, a popular destination for those who enjoy the outdoors, watersports, golf and the vibrant food and drink as well as arts and music scene as well as those who enjoy a gentler pace of life in beautiful surroundings. St Andrews is around 20 by car and Edinburgh just over an hour so it is a great base for exploring further afield. Parking is available on street.
