About this property
Mews & Blues, by Veeve
Offering an oasis of privacy in a prime South Kensington location, this secluded three-bedroom mews house instantly enthrals; notably the idyllic seating area that welcomes guests at the entrance. Picturing this enchanting cobbled street, it’s hard to fathom you’re mere steps from London’s iconic Museum Quarter. That’s if you even feel like venturing out much once you fall under the spell of this home’s buoyant interiors...
As you enter the home through the elegant dining room, any attempt to resist the bountiful charms of this mews house instantly prove futile. Richly inviting with its soft velvet dining chairs, hardwood furniture and artistic curios, it astutely embodies how this three-storey home intelligently maximises its interior space. The invigorating mood certainly transcends the living area where the period detail is exquisitely enhanced by a subtle blend of blissful blues. That cerulean splendour is carefully preserved through the delicate tile effect of the minimalist kitchen, crisp and contemporary in its clean lines.
The enlivening colour palette once again comes to the fore in the principal bedroom suite where peaceful baby blues are adroitly balanced by gentle mint hues of reclaimed vintage furniture, capped off by a contemporary en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Finally, a tasteful teal effect brings added verve to the family bathroom, also replete with a bath and shower.
Cultural connoisseurs will find plenty to cherish in the immediate vicinity, with this delightful home situated moments from the V&A, Natural History Museum and Royal Albert Hall.
We Love
The uplifting mews street setting close to the beating heart of South Kensington; it’s truly soulful family living close to some of the capital’s most stimulating cultural attractions.
**To rent this property, the minimum age requirement is 25 years old.**
Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties. Please note the coach house (inside the double white doors adjoining the mews) will not be accessible during your stay; it is private and a caretaker resides there full time. This property is also situated in close proximity to a church, so please be aware you may occasionally hear choral song – a beautiful sound!

Why they chose this property
South Kensington is a fabulous area of South West London, filled with pretty parades of Victorian houses and provides a one-stop destination for some of London’s best museums. From the Natural History Museum, to the Science Museum and of course, the Victoria & Albert museum, visitors from around the world come to visit these South Kensington institutions. The Royal Albert Hall is also located just off the north end of Exhibition Road, home of the annual BBC Proms. Beyond the Music hall, is Hyde Park and the Serpentine Art Gallery – just a short walk from South Kensington tube station.
