The perfect retreat for a couple looking for a break and to explore the fantastic surroundings.. 1 step to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:

Kitchen area: 2-Ring Hob, Electric Hob, Combi Microwave/Oven/Grill, Fridge
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Gas underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Front garden with benches and dog exercise field (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . Teddys Cottage is a charming cottage with ample space in which to relax. A real getaway for fresh air, pleasant walks and fun days out. Perfect for couples and romantic getaways. Entering this delightful, converted single-storey cottage for two, you will find space to hang your coats and leave your shoes. The contemporary and beautifully tiled shower room is off the hallway and has a walk-in shower, illuminated mirror above the wash basin and a toilet. Heading into the open plan living space, you will be met with two comfortable sofas to relax on with a Smart TV for your entertainment. A Velux roof window adds to the light and airy feel of the space. The kitchen has an extending dining table where you can enjoy your meals together. You can then enjoy a relaxing night’s sleep in the cosy bedroom, which comes complete with a double bed and open storage for all of your things.
Outside there is a shared paved area with bench-style seating. If you have a dog, you are more than welcome to exercise them in the owner’s fields within the grounds. There is a lovely tea room on site serving food and drink everyday and a complimentary pass to Beamish, the open air museum, which is not to be missed. There is also a large open woodland assured picnic area right next door which is perfect for some al-fresco dining, along with a selection of country walking and cycling trails nearby. You can walk down to Causey Arch, the world’s oldest single-arch bridge and even take a trip on the oldest existing steam train in the world at the local Tanfield railway. The owner also offers a ride on the steam train on one of the oldest railways!
