The 2 bedrooms are comfortably furnished and the kitchen, with large center island, is well equipped for all your food preparation needs. The 3rd bedroom has a pullout queen sofa-bed.

We live in a cold, northeast climate, and purchased this home as part of our long-term retirement plan. Kelly (me) is an HR Professional, and Tom is an airline pilot. We are both quite a ways from saying goodbye to our jobs, but felt its never too early to dream! We explored different parts of FL before settling on Englewood. It is so close to the airport (Sarasota), but it is also convenient to Tampa and Ft Meyers, so when looking for reasonable airfare, there are several options.
Why they chose this property
After looking at countless properties, we walked in the front door of 1966 Greenlawn and it just felt perfect. From the front door, you can see clear out to the canal as the house is really open. The prevous owner took meticulous care of it, and the pool area is particularly inviting. Our plan is to rent it out on a limited basis, but to 30 day plus renters only. Why? It's a home, not a hotel room, and we want others to enjoy it in the way we hope to some day. Although there are 3 bedrooms, we prefer to ONLY rent up to 4 adults. The 3rd bedroom doesn't have it's own bathroom, and the bed is a twin trundle. Would consider 6 if 2 of them are children!
