Make your romantic getaway truly special with a stay at the latest addition to PEAKE’S Retreats; Castle View cottage. Located in the beautiful and historic village of Tutbury, this cosy cottage offers breathtaking views of the castle ruins right from your garden. With an inviting interior complete with woodburner and superking size bed, all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay, and a romantic location - you can't go wrong with this charming holiday cottage for two.

Enter into your cosy lounge with woodburner, smart tv, cocktail trolley and comfy sofa.

Leading through to the sweet yet spacious kitchen that is fully kitted out with everything you need, and includes hotel Chocolat velvetiser and N’espresso creatista plus coffee machine.

Upstairs you will find your huge superking size bed, with 2 double wardrobes, Dyson hairdryer and dressing table that would easily double as workspace for those travelling for work.

Enjoy gorgeous Neal’s Yard toiletries provided in the bathroom where you will find the over bath shower, heated towel rail and fresh fluffy towels.

Outside enjoy an enclosed yard area with raised decking and outdoor furniture, or follow the steps up to the garden where you will find a further private decking area with Kadai BBQ grill and unobstructed views of the castle where Mary Queen of Scots spent much of her life. Visit the castle for one of the many events held there throughout the year

Parking is available on the street right outside the cottage, however if you prefer to be off street you can find a free car park at the bottom of the hill which is less than 1 minute from the cottage.

A 5 minute walk will bring you ti Tutbury high street, where there are often farmers markets and events throughout the year. There is also a small, but great choice of independent shops, bars and restaurants.
