Stylish, IKEA apartment in an excellent location. In the heart of El Born but on a quiet alley. Apartment could use a little TLC, but we’d stay here again. Our host, Juanjo, was a good communicator.
The location was A The apartment was comfortable. Very clean with a fully stocked kitchen, much more modern than I expected. We found some really great restaurants within walking distance. Would stay there again!
This property is in the heart of the gothic quarter, a 15 minute walk to the beach and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops!Location couldn’t be better!
We loved staying here! Right is the heart of Gothic quarter. There was a cute little balcony, everything you need. So close to restaurants and right by the Metro. The beds were comfy... My one complain is that I wish the pillows were better. They were flat as a pancake. We would definitely stay here again!
We spent 4 days in Barcellona between gaudi and America’s cup regattas.
Picasso place is the perfect accommodation: cozy, clean and in the city center.
Highly recommend this apartment. The location was fantastic. It’s close to the metro and super walkable. Juanjo was super responsive before my stay and the woman who met us for check in was super sweet.
Great location to access to wonderful restaurants and artisans in Le born area. Metro super close. Apartment was spacious and really comfortable bed. Will recommend!
We chose this location and were not disappointed. Very near metro, close to many places. Allowed us to store our luggage prior to check-in. Highly recommend as we had coffee, tea, all necessary amenities plus washer/dryer. They thought of every necessity to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as home. I have never rented a more perfect apartment. Next door was a Thai Massage and they were an excellent choice too. We needed transportation back to the airport and our host provided names/contact information. You will be glad you selected this apartment.
I stayed with my father for about a week. The apartment was clean and comfortable. They even came to change the linens and towels which was nice! Communication with our host was easy and he was so kind. It was close to the metro and many points of interest! We would absolutely stay again.
It was wonderful. the location was great, the check-in went well, the place was big and clean and fully equipped with everything we could have needed. 10/10
I had 20 hours in Barcelona with a friend and this location was perfect. I also signed up for a tapas and flamenco tour through viator and the tour met very close to this apartment making it easy to see a lot in one day. I am grateful for Juanjo’s great communication. It was a beautiful stay.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Convenient location but there are some problems
While the location is very central, there were some unpleasant things, mostly related to the fact that the flat is in an old building:- There is only one window in the apartment (main room) and no windows in the bedrooms- The sound isolation is not good; we could hear the neighbors and people on the stairs (the lift shaft is adjacent to the rooms)Another issue was the cleanliness, my wife had to clean up the shelves before putting her clothes. While there is a dishwasher, we could never use it, first because of the lack of detergent and then because we could not turn it on.The washing machine worked fine after we requested detergent. The shower was good, no problem at all.
Couldn’t be happier. Stayed with my elderly parents and we enjoyed the location and the little apartment in the middle of the gothic area. I’m considering looking up the apartment again if decide to come back. Which is inevitable. Barcelona is amazing city.

Central, but dark and loud flat
We had three nights in this flat. However, there were several aspects, which did not let us enjoy your time in this flat in Barcelona. First, we had to pay a late check-in fee of 50 euros, which was not written explicitly in the description of the flat (such as the amount and under which conditions this late Check-in fee applies). Second, the bathroom was not fully clean, which us a No Go for us. Third, the flat is very dark. It has only one window. Finally, the Elevator is directly next to the bedroom, which can be quiet loud when the neighbours arrive late in the night. On the pros list: We Had a good communication with the host. The flat is big and the price is fine for what you get compared to other flat prices in Barcelona.
Everything about our stay was fantastic. I understand why they wanted to meet in person for key handoff since it could be hard to find for those unfamiliar with the area. They were upfront and honest about what requests they could and could not honor. However, having only one set of keys please be advised that this listing is best for those who are going to be doing things together for the least friction in your stay.
The apartment was great. great location just steps away from L4 metro. In the heart of the gothic quarter. The area is very lively and you can find many restaurants and bars. walking distance from the Barcelona Cathedral and the Church of Santa Maria del Mar. Walking distance from the Mercado de Santa Catalina, I recommend this place better then the big Market on the Ramblas, it is smaller but more local. The apartment was clean, with an elevator and air condition. I highly recommend this place. The only thing is that you have to meet the host at a coffee shop near by to get the keys and you have to communicate through VRBO and not a phone number. But other than that everything was great
