"Indigo Blue" is a beachfront luxury condo located at Grande Bay Resort. The unit boasts unobstructed oceanfront and bay views from the desirable second floor. The waterfront balcony allows you to hear the gentle waves of Cruz Bay 30 feet from the condo. Part of the charm of Indigo Blue is having morning coffee or afternoon drinks on the balcony while watching the sailboats. Indigo Blue may be rented as a 2BR, 1BR Suite or Studio Suite. Each option has a private entrance to accommodate families or couples. We also own Mojo Blue 2 BR, 1BR and Studio which are located next to Indigo Blue in the front row building same level.

The Studio Suite features a granite kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and hot plate. A Weber electric grill is located on the front balcony. The Studio has a king size bed and a queen sleeper sofa. The full bath has granite counters and a tiled shower. All linens including beach towels are provided. Additionally, beach chairs and coolers are available for your use. Each condo has a washer / dryer combo, and they are fully air conditioned.

Indigo Blue is less than a 5 minute walk to restaurants, bars and the ferry dock. As you arrive on the ferry Grande Bay is on your right in Cruz Bay harbor. Upon arrival our property manager will greet you at the dock and escort you to Indigo Blue. The Studio does not have a reserved parking space. Only the 2 Bedroom and 1 Bedroom condos come with a reserved space. Many guests prefer to walk to restaurants and shopping and hire taxis for transport to the north shore beaches. The front desk at Grande Bay will arrange taxi transportation for all Indigo Blue guests. If renting a jeep on island advanced reservations are highly recommended. Our property manager will also assist with grocery delivery, wedding planning and restaurant reservations.

Grande Bay amenities include: Resort heated saltwater pool with hot tub overlooking Cruz Bay, air-conditioned workout room with Pilates Reformer and state of the art equipment, free wireless internet and free long distance calls. The front desk is staffed 24/7 to cater to your needs or questions. Yacht charters are available through Grande Bay to explore surrounding islands and cays. If traveling to the British Islands passports are required.

Beautiful unit. Easy to walk anywhere in town and get a taxi to the beach. Easy for traveling as chairs, cooler and beach towels provided. Nice size Washer and dryer. Clean and comfortable for two, a child or two. Would be cozy if 4 adults. The view of the bay is awesome!

Perfect location! Walked to fantastic eats, drinks & live music! Unit had all the beach essentials, washer & dyer, plus fantastic views! Thanks Property Manager for meeting us at the dock and getting us settled in. Slim’s Jeep Rentals was easy to work & them plus private snorkeling and fishing charters accessible via short walk. We’ll be back!

We stayed for a week in Coral Bay on the quieter side of the island. We stayed for 3 additional nights to enjoy the restaurants, etc. of Cruz Bay. This location could not have been better. The unit was perfect for a couple. It had everything we needed. We had our coffee every morning on the balcony overlooking beautiful Cruz Bay. I can't wait to go back but next time need more than 3 nights!

Our favorite place to stay on St John

Indigo Blue is a beautiful studio and just the right size for two. The location can't be beat, just steps down the street from the restaurants & shops in Cruz Bay. You can hear the waves & music from the Beach Bar while sitting on the private deck. Love this place!

50th Birthday

We stayed in St. John for this time this fall. Our condo was awesome with a fantastic view. Our room was easily accessable from the road. We were in close walking distance to shops, bars, taxis, etc. We had a wonderdul time!

We have been vacationing on St. John for 23 years. Our first visit was our Honeymoon and from that moment we fell in love with the island. Our children have learned how to swim, snorkel and explore on this island and we continue to make wonderful memories with every return trip. I enjoy sharing advice on where to dine and what beaches to visit for your vacation in paradise. I hope you enjoy St. John as much as we do.

We chose Grande Bay as our St. John home because of the premier location. The view is amazing. The amenities are unsurpassed and the convenience to Cruz Bay restaurants and shopping is ideal. The two bedroom lockout feature works well for our family allowing togetherness and independence when needed. The island is so beautiful you can sit back and enjoy your view at the beach and your view from Indigo Blue.

What makes this property unique

The location of Indigo Blue is in the lower Grande Bay building closest to the beach which allows you to hear the gentle waves of Cruz Bay. We enjoy listening to the waves at night. If this is important to you we would recommend the lower buildings rather than the upper building units at Grande Bay.
