About this property
Luxury Oasis in Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea
Welcome to our elegant and tranquil apartment, nestled in three lush acres of residents-only gardens in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
This historic, architect-renovated gem is flooded with sunlight and offers a truly delightful living experience. Step through the doors onto your own private terrace with two comfortable sitting area, which then leads directly into one of London's largest private gardens. Adorned with lush trees, vibrant flowers and various amenities, this oasis boasts a summer lawn tennis court, running tracks, charming reading nooks and a table tennis area. It also forms the setting for many events for residents throughout the year: summer garden parties, theatre and opera, fireworks and carol singing.
Inside the flat, you'll find a space that exudes both luxury and comfort. The raised ground floor was the primary entertainment space, so grand ceilings of a bygone era soar to 3.6m (almost 12 ft). The abundance of natural light, sunshine that floods in through large south-facing doors and easy comfortable furnishings make living in this thoughtfully designed space a sheet delight.
Other things to note
- Private terrace with wrought iron railings and a gate leading directly into the 3 acres of gardens, which are strictly accessible only by the houses that enclose it.
- Anyone can use the table tennis, running track and kids' play equipment anytime, year round, no bookings. The tennis court has a booking system at peak times and fun tournaments.
- Steam room: simply a matter of pressing the ON button, keeping the door closed and waiting for it to heat up.
- Happy to accept 1 small pet - subject to an extra charge of £10/day
- All the water has been channelled into the far shower head to give a full and luxurious rain shower experience!
- There is a Dutch bike that you are more than welcome to use, just please ensure you lock this when not in use and treat as your own.
