The Horse Gin is a completely renovated Grade II listed barn building, historically used as part of the threshing process. These barns used large cogs and wheels attached to pulleys, using horses as motive power.. 15 steps to entrance.

The beautiful and coastal town of Salcombe is within an hour’s drive away. This part of South Devon is renowned for its stunning coastal walks and beaches and boasts several National Trust properties and gardens. For walking enthusiasts, The Horse Gin is conveniently located within 40 minutes of Dartmoor National Park, with its wild open moorland, deep river valleys, rich history, and rare wildlife. For specific child friendly activities, Paignton has a wide variety of activities - from its cinema, arcades, pier, and mini golf as well as play parks. Paignton Zoo lies under two miles away and the popular Woodlands Family Theme Park is located just outside Dartmouth.
