Great spot!

Great spot in the gothic quarter just off La Rambla! It was perfect for our family of 4 (kids age 6 & 11). Apartment was clean and comfortable!

Gotic Fun

The location was perfect & we loved our stay. It's in a wonderful location & everything is walkable. Easily walk to restaurants, shops, waterfront, sights, metro, Las Ramblas, etc. The company next door has a hanging sign that lights up which was super helpful at night time. Great communication with the host and support accommodating. Was really nice to be able to do laundry in the middle of our 2- week trip. We stayed here for 4 days,

Perfect Location!

You cannot ask for a better location than this apartment! On a winding street in the Gothic Quarter, just steps from great bars, restaurants and cafes. The apartment itself could use some sprucing up, and we couldn't get the mini split to heat the apartment more than 18deg C, so it was chilly. But, I would stay here again just for the location...absolutely perfect!

Ideal Location!!

My husband and I stayed 9 nights and appreciated the size of the space with its 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location cannot be beat! Ideally located so that you can easily walk to all of the landmarks and close to several restaurants and bars. The space could use upkeep and a serious deep clean i.e. shower, walls, floors. As previously mentioned by other comments, the linens have seen better days.

Perfect location in a great apartment

Truly fantastic place!! Could not ask for better location right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter right next to Cathedral. Wonderful wood and stone in apt. Was a little cold at times, but there was a heater in kitchen. Really liked the two bathrooms. Juanjo was very quick to communicate! Excellent!!!

Mitten in der Stadt

Wohnung war ok, bedingt durch die engen Gassen in der Altstadt kommt im Winter natürlich wenig Licht in die Wohnung. Im Sommer ist das wahrscheinlich kein Problem. Alle Wegen waren kurz. Für kleine Mahlzeiten war die Küche ausreichend. Als Heizung wird die Klimaanlage in Heizungsmodus betrieben, ist ausreichend, wenn auch die Fenster energetisch nicht ganz up-to-date sind.

Wonderful Property

Wonderful apartment, location in the heart of a beautiful city. I was concerned when I had read some of the negative reviews about the stair and the noise. I found none of these issues to be a concern. If you want to stay in the Gothic district, you don't expect elevators. Nor would you expect complete silence in the narrow passages of the location. It was very simple to shut the windows and the apartment was quiet. I preferred to keep the windows open and enjoyed climbing the few stairs to remind me of the rich history of the location I was fortunate to say in. I was surprised to find that the corner of the apartment had a historic statue that many walking tours visited daily. Thank you for sharing this wonderful, historic and beautiful apartment with my family.

Perfect Location + Charming

Wonderful apartment on 2nd floor in Gothic quarter. This is right behind the Cathedral de Barcelona. We walked everywhere, there is so much around this apt. Would definitely stay here again. The host let us check in early and had excellent communication through VRBO. We didn’t use the kitchen b/c we ate out everyday. The shower was great, hot water was perfect. Alley views from 2 balcony windows were charming. Beds were comfortable and they provided extra blankets. Very safe area considering how populated. Walls are thin so you hear everything from neighbors above and below as well as all the outside street noise which is quite loud from 9pm-12am. But this is normal for staying in a highly populated area. Bring ear plugs and a sound machine if needed. Very close to all metro stations and train. Easy to get around the city. Highly recommend this apt and host! Thanks!

Wonderful location

The flat is in the old part of Barcelona, the Barri Gotic. Location is excellent. However, it can be a bit loud both in the house (2 dogs!) and with the noise from the street. The flat has everything you need and as you are mainly outside exploring lovely Barcelona, it does not matter that the flat is very dark. Older people might struggle with the shower as there is a big step up. If you are not old, that's no problem at all.

Gothic Quarter stay in Barcelona

The location of this apartment is wonderful. We enjoyed the narrow winding streets of the oldest part of the city. The history, architecture, shops, and proximity to the market and sights was incredible.

Good to rest your head

Good location, in quite a touristy area. If you are looking for somewhere quiet this is not the space. It is an older area of town and walls / windows / doors are very thin, however was fine for us as we explored most of the days away. Space was clean, 2 bathrooms a bonus. Beds could be comfier, if that matters to you. , overall good experience for our first time in Barcelona!

Property was well located and within walking distance to most of the tourist areas and cafes etc. Apartment was clean and had everything you needed but the towels and linen could be upgraded as were well used. Could not get the TV to work and followed the instructions and contacted the Host but he was unable to assist and just said again to follow the instructions.

Beautiful apartment located in a great area.

An oasis after a busy day. There were several really good restaurants just a few steps away. We had good contact with our host and we'd definitely stay here again.

Hola Barcelona.

Juanjo's apartment is just off the Town Hall square so is in a great location in the old part of Barcelona. We absolutely loved the location, which is so close to so much of what we wanted to see and do in Barcelona. The place itself is well laid out and very clean and comfortable. It is also up only one level so lugging heavy bags was not a problem. Highly recommended. Matt
