Fabulous stay at Sedna

Excellent property in a great location. Possibly one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house was equipped with everything we needed.

Great family holiday!

We had a lovely stay in Sedna! Loads of space so it felt very comfortable for our visit with two families. The home and views are beautiful! We loved that we could walk right out the front door and down to the marina for walks with our small children and dog. We also made use of the leisure centre which was fabulous. Suggestions : more cooking utensils (e.g., grater, more spoons) and plastic plates/bowls for children would be helpful. Would also be nice to have some seating in front garden or at door to enjoy views when weather is nice.

A great place to stay - a secret treasure on Argyll's Secret Coast

We were offered Sedna due to a rather late cancellation of a booked venue (not the company's fault - Mr. Iain Fleming was an excellent help in finding a new one). First, we were sceptical because of the rather remote location, but it turned out to be a real treasure. A spacious, well-kept and well-equipped cozy house with a nice garden and a great view over the bay. A 15-minute-walk will get you to the Portavadie Marina (restaurant, playground/little football pitch, indoor pool, little shop) and to the Tarbert ferry, a ten minute drive to the village shop in Tighnabruaich and the great little 'Wild Kitchen' café or the Kilbride Beach (with a nice farm café). There are nice walking paths (e.g. in the Glenan Woods nearby). Just getting there and back to e.g. from/to the motorway/Glasgow takes a bit of an effort - single-track roads for quite a while. And the next proper supermarket is in Dunoon - a 40 minutes drive - but if you go there anyway, don't miss out on a walk im the beautiful 'Puck's Glen' and having a coffee and a scone or a lunch at 'The Blairmore' (a nice little café opposite the bay). All in all: absolutely worth a recommendation. A great place to stay (for 4 adults and 4 kids - but there would have been space for 2 more people). If we can, we will be back one day
