No.36 Debenham - One Bedroom House, Sleeps 2
Nestled in the heart of Suffolk, Debenham is a quintessential English village that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. In this charming village, you can meander along picturesque streets lined with historic timber-framed houses, visit the beautiful parish church and enjoy a leisurely meal at one of the cosy local pubs. The surrounding area provides opportunities for exploring the Suffolk countryside, with scenic walks and cycling routes through lush farmland and ancient woodlands whilst nearby attractions include Kentwell Hall, a stately home with stunning gardens, and the market town of Framlingham, known for its imposing castle. History enthusiasts can delve into the past at the Museum of East Anglian Life in nearby Stowmarket too. Debenham and its surroundings are perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Suffolk, where history, nature, and village charm harmoniously coexist. Quaint and quintessential, this characterful cottage dates back to 1480 and is brimming with original features throughout. Once a larger house that has now been split into three cottages, this pretty home is generous for two guests looking for a romantic countryside getaway.
