The village previously won the prestigious title of "England's Favourite Village" as featured in Country Life magazine and was named the best village in England by the Telegraph in 2010. Foodies will be delighted to discover the cottage is within easy walking distance of two highly recommended local pubs, The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, along with the well-stocked village shop and post office. The Old Bakery is easily reached by train, with the village being on the main line from London Paddington, with stops at Oxford, Didcot and Moreton-in-Marsh. The property itself is only four minutes from the station, making it an ideal location from which to explore the local area.
