About this property

Superlative old town property with pool & bar room

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Perfectly located in the centre of Ceret's old town, just two minutes walk to one of many squares with cafes and restaurants, this fantastic renovated property will charm you with its' quirky luxury and heated pool nestled in the Pyreneen foothills. Each bedroom is stylishly decorated and has its' own luxury bathroom. In addition, there is a huge kitchen with amazing views, and a cellar bar for entertainment.
The space
The property is in a superb location and has beautiful south-facing views over the welcoming swimming pool and beyond from the kitchen balcony and ground floor terrace sitting areas.
There is a large convivial kitchen where the whole group can gather and eat at the large kitchen table. An alternative is to eat outside on the terrace in front of the pool, with seating for 8 and bbq facilities. The pool can be heated as an option if needed outside high season, for an additional charge.
A cellar bar with seating for 8 and its' own fridge and drinks storage can be accessed from the kitchen area.
All bedrooms are extremely well appointed and decorated. There is one ground floor luxury cellar bedroom with ensuite, one main floor en-suite bedroom with views over the kitchen area and beyond, and two upper floor bedrooms, one en-suite and one with its' own dedicated bathroom next door.
There is also a large area adjacent to the upper floor en-suite bedroom, that has a small bureau desk for homeworking and a pull out double sofa bed.
There are two connected lounge areas with TV on the main floor.
Other things to note
The many charming features and quirks of this renovated old town property means that it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, and young children would need close supervision.

Excellent location, great amenities

This Céret house is a combination of old and new, rustic touches combined with modern design. The kitchen is ample and well-stocked, and the pool area and two decks provide easy access to the outdoors--and beautiful views of the mountains. It's located very near the center of town within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay here and Peter was a responsive host.

Beautiful house , pool and location

The property is very conveniently located close to the centre of the lovely town of Ceret. All the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen very well equipped. Look out for the hidden drawers in the kitchen drawers to find all the cutlery etc, very nifty. The view from the garden was stunning and the pool lovely. The owners were very communicative and responded quickly to our questions. There were 8 of us in the house and there was enough space for everybody. We all had a great holiday and hope to return one day.Thank you very much .

You have to stay here!

First of all, you have to visit Ceret. It is a stunning town, virbrant and colourful but also laid back and chilled. Peter's house is in an amazing location with the nearest bars and restaurants within a short walk. If you love art, culture, history you will not be disappointed. There are an abundance of walks, cycle rides and other activities such as canyoning and a large swimming lake with various things going on in the next town. Now to the house. Wow it is a lovley space. Cool in the summer and the pool is a fantastic addition. We loved the space but also the quirky layout of the house. From the front you would think it is a normal small town house, however once entering it goes on and on but never feels too big. The tranquility from the garden with views to the mountains was amazing. A very quite location but only steps away from a lovely square with great places to eat and drink. I would love to purchase something like this. We had a few questions and Peter was back to us within minutes. A great host We will be back. Thank you Peter
