About this property
Casa Bougainvillea Relax by the pool, it is yours for the length of your stay
Casa Bougainvillaea is set in the beautiful Murcian countryside, but it is not isolated
There is shaded parking. The garden is well laid out with gravel, shrubs and trees
The pool area has railings, and a large tiled area, with a shady pergerla, built in BBQ, table and chairs and sun loungers
We live on site.
The local village of Estacion boasts two banks, two family supermarkets, a Pharmacia, a Panaderia a petrol station and several bars. On a Sunday morning, there is a market, and the village will be "Jumpimg"
A twenty minuet drive away is the beautiful city of Lorca, which is very Spanish, it is small enough to walk around. It has beautiful old buildings, and the two costume museums containing the breath taking hand embroidered costumes from the Easter Parades are a must to visit. There are also some very nice individual shops
Lorca Castle is very interesting, and after visiting, why not visit the hotel next to it and have coffee or lunch on their terrace, and take in the magnificant panaramic views
Also in Lorca are some very nice restaurants and tapas bars
A thirtyfive minuet drive takes you to the lovely coastal town of Aguillas, with its lovely beaches, promenade and square. There are some lovely restaurants, tapas bars, and several fish restaurants, (They land the fish in Aguillas)
Further along the coast is the coastal town of Mazaron, with a beautiful sandy beach, and many restaurants and tapas bars
The Siera Espuna is worth a visit where you can see wild goats, wild boar, and sometimes Eagles. There are also reconstructions of the old Ice houses
Travel into Almeria, (We are close to the border) and visit the White village of Mojaca up in the hills, come down the hill and you are on Mojaca beach, long and sandy, with a wonderful selection of resttaurants overlooking the sea
Further afield is of course Granada, and the magnificant Alhambra, but you need to purchase your tickets on line in advance
Alicante airport is one and a half hours away
Corvera airport, Murcia is fifty minutes away
