This lodge is a part of the carefully restored 16th-century Grade II listed thatched Devon longhouse, where historical elements blend seamlessly with modern comforts. The interior exudes character, featuring exposed wooden beams, an inviting inglenook fireplace, and contemporary furnishings. Close to the Michelin Star restaurant, the Masons Arms.

Note: This property is priced to give a low occupancy discount for 2 guests based on only using one bedroom. If both bedrooms are required, please book with 4 guests to ensure both bedrooms are made up for your arrival.

Upon entry, you'll be greeted by a spacious open-plan area encompassing the living, dining, and kitchen spaces. Here, comfortable sofas encircle a cosy inglenook fireplace housing a woodburning stove, creating the perfect setting for relaxation after a day of exploring Exmoor or the North Devon coast. The ground floor also boasts a sizable dining table, ideal for family meals and planning your next adventures.

Venturing upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms, each complete with modern ensuite bathrooms. "Luscombe Pine," the master bedroom, boasts a grand four-poster bed and antique furniture. Its ensuite bathroom is thoughtfully designed with both a shower and a bath. The second double bedroom, "Billy Down Pippin," located just across the hall, features a vaulted ceiling and an eclectic mix of colonial furniture. Both rooms are designed for your utmost comfort and relaxation, whether you've spent the day at the beach or exploring the national parks.

Outside, a delightful garden area and patio offer an idyllic spot for alfresco dining during the warmer seasons. The extensive 20-acre grounds of the farm include a large pond, open fields, woodlands, and rolling hills, providing ample opportunities for exploration. In the evenings, you can unwind with a glass of wine and soak in the sunset over the picturesque hills.

A security deposit of £200 is required when booking this property. The owner will meet you on arrival and take payment at that point. All things being well, this security deposit will be released back to you on your departure date or shortly after your check out providing there is no damage to the property or its contents.



Indoor Description
This inviting lodge boasts an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area, complete with its original inglenook fireplace. It's a wonderful space for sociable evenings, where you can prepare meals and relax with a drink in front of the wood-burning stove.

The bedroom named "Lucombe Pine" offers an exquisite experience, featuring an ornate hand-carved four-poster kingsize bed and an ensuite 4-piece bathroom adorned with antique furnishings. Meanwhile, the "Billy Down Pippin" bedroom showcases a vaulted ceiling and a unique blend of colonial-style furniture, along with its ensuite 3-piece bathroom.

Beyond the lodge, you'll find a charming garden space and patio, perfect for savouring your meals outdoors during the sunnier seasons.

Luckett's expansive 20-acre grounds encompass a significant pond, sprawling fields, enchanting woodlands, and picturesque rolling hills to delight in. In the evenings, you can unwind while holding a glass of wine and relish the sunset painting the hills with its warm hues.
