About this property
Hafod-Llecheiddior | A self catering cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms
Hafod-Llecheiddior is a bright and spacious holiday cottage in a rural setting. A fantastic family space both inside and out make it a great holiday retreat, especially with its modern and stylish interiors and accessibility to other parts of North Wales.
The large and open drive on arrival with uninterrupted views over towards the Snowdonia mountains is so welcoming. The feeling of being in such a beautiful, open and rural setting with the enclosed area of the cottage and its grounds is just perfect.
As you come into the cottage, the open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room with its vaulted ceilings, patio doors and windows make it a really bright and spacious room. The kitchen has high gloss, cream units and a bar area with stools making it a very sociable place to cook and prepare food. The sitting room has plenty of sofa space which will comfortably seat 5 and the addition of the select pieces of wooden furniture add to making this an inviting part of the room.
Along the hall from the kitchen, there are three bedrooms in total; a double, twin and single. The double and twin have ensuite bathrooms and there is also a communal single WC. The bedrooms are all finished with lovely, soft carpet and plump, inviting beds. The bathrooms are modern with slate tiles throughout, wet room style showers and chrome fittings - very boutique hotel feel to them.
A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome at this property.

What makes this property unique
The outside space of this cottage is really lovely. The enclosed front area includes a stone driveway, large patio and grassed garden looking out over fields and towards the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains. The patio is the perfect place to sit back on the outside sofa's and enjoy the tranquility of where you are.
In terms of location, the cottage is perfectly placed to access so many parts of North Wales, including the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and the North Wales Coast. The cottage is only 20 mins away from Beddgelert alone which is the closest point from which you can climb Snowdon. Porthmadog is the nearest town where there is a good selection of shops, the major supermarkets and lovely cafes as well as the Ffestiniog Steam Train which takes you into the mountains. A nice harbour which a 15 min walk along will bring you to Borth Y Gest. Portmeirion Village is also just down the road.
Criccieth is 15 mins away and is your nearest beach as well as a lovely, smaller town where you will find great antique shops and a really good selection of cafes and of course the famous Cadwaladers Ice Cream and Dylans restaurant on the seafront. From here you have easy access to Pwllheli with the marina and then onto Abersoch which is a hive of activity and the place to go surfing.
20 mins to the North will bring you to Caernarfon where of course you have the castle and more great beaches and close to Bethesda which is where you will find Zip World.
Within a 1 - 1.5 hours, you have access to the best mountain biking trails in the country, the UK's no 1 place for white water rafting and incredible places to climb, walk, kayak, SUP - so many thinks you can tick off a bucket list here….
