About this property
Artisan Hall: 4BD Stunning Grandeur in Cotswolds
Resting in the quiet village of Toddington, this Grade ll listed Cotswold stone dwelling, makes the perfect getaway for entertaining families and groups of friends alike.
A unique character includes a grand arched ceiling, with wooden beams and chandeliers and exposed Cotswold stone walls, porthole windows, and a quirky hammock which most definitely takes centre stage.
The grand entrance hall has high ceilings, a stunning chandelier and ornate furnishings, leading to the great hall which is the centrepiece of this home.
Here you can relax under the Bedouin tent and enjoy the large wood burning stove and inviting sofas.
If you are after a bit of peace and quiet, there is a snug with a log burning fire. Or you might prefer the bright sitting room equipped with Apple TV with Netflix and a DVD player, perfect for a cosy night in, watching films, as the open fire crackles in the background.
Connecting to the breakfast room/orangery, the kitchen has stone mullion windows that allow light into the kitchen from the partial glass ceiling, where you can make use of the freestanding units, AGA, and other appliances. There is also a useful connecting pantry with a fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a cloakroom with a basin and WC.
Here, you have a choice of four stunning bedrooms. Two are on the ground-floor which is perfect for guests with limited mobility; one of which contains a grand, super-king-size four-poster bed, and the other contains a king-size bed and has a domed ceiling and porthole window, benefitting from its own en-suite shower room and a separate en-suite basin and WC.
Upstairs, a large landing contains seating and offers lovely views, with a balcony overlooking the large entrance hall. There is a king-size dual aspect room and the other room has a double bed.
There is also a family bathroom with a bath perfect for relaxing, as well as a walk-in shower.
Outside, the property has a mixture of lawn and gravelled areas, with a table, perfect for alfresco dining.
In the heart of the beautiful Cotswold countryside, this property is close to Winchcombe which is a vibrant, ancient Saxon town known as the walking capital of the Cotswolds. You can find countless footpaths on its doorstep, many of which incorporate sections of the Cotswold Way long distance walking trail which covers over 100 miles of spectacular countryside.
In addition to stunning scenery, the town is also home to a variety of tourist attractions including the historic Sudeley Castle and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
Also close by is Broadway, often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’, where you will find beautiful shops.
Stow-on-the-Wold, a historic market town is also well worth a visit with contemporary art galleries and a Farmers’ market, a perfect place to source fresh local produce.
