On-road parking, additional public car park free of charge. No smoking.. A converted fisherman store from years gone by. Now converted into a cosy family home with great views over Avoch harbour and the Moray Firth. Sleeping four guests in three bedrooms, this dog friendly holiday home is in a great location for exploring Fortrose, Cromarty and the Black Isle and for accessing the wider Scottish Highlands. Inverness is around a 20-minute drive, there is a regular bus service if travelling without a car.
The Old Chandlery is situated opposite Avoch Harbour near to the fisher town where the close packed streets are a reminder of the days when the fishing boats were hauled into the street to protect them during bad weather. Avoch is located on the Black Isle and is approximately 20 minutes North East of Inverness on the Inner Moray Firth. The property is built into the hillside opposite Avoch Harbour. At the front of the house, there is a staircase that leads up to the front door. At the back of the house, there is no staircase to access the back door. Beach 400 yards. Pub 1¾ miles.
