AVOID!

Avoid this place at all costs. We arrived at the apartment and it was extremely dirty, it looked like it was ‘fixed’ up to make it look presentable but in fact was extremely dirty. There was hair on the bathroom floor, in the showers and everywhere else in the apartment. The sinks were covered in grime and so were the appliances. The only thing that was changed were the duvet covers. The host was unresponsive and had to be prodded multiple times to get a response. When we reported the filth in the apartment, a ‘cleaner’ was sent. We think this might have been the host’s wife or someone as they did not know how to clean. There were barely any cleaning supplies, no Hoover and she was mopping the floor before brushing up the crumbs… the AC was leaking water down the wall which was also near a socket which is a safety hazard. There was no iron and iron board, apparently because previous customer’s had stolen them but why do we have to face the repercussion? Also, it was not advertised on the listing that the apartment building has no lift and that it is on the third floor. It felt like climbing mount vesuvius every day and finally being faced with a dodgy door to get into the apartment which took 2 people to get in. I guess the final straw for us was when a cockroach, the size of a baby mouse ran into the apartment under the door. We immediately checked out a few hours after as it couldn’t get any worse or maybe it could have. Long story short AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
