The bedrooms on the ground floor and consist of a king-size and twin (zip/link on request) serviced by a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, a raised terrace and furniture, plus roadside parking is available. Within 0.1 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub, and please note this is a smoke-free and pet-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. No children under 10 years old. Note: There are some low doorways throughout the property and the stairs are open-tread, please take care. There is a good housekeeping bond of two hundred and fifty pounds

Castleton is world-famous for its visitor caves and the beautiful semi precious stone Blue John which is only found and mined here. Castleton has a fabulous array of interesting little gift shops, pubs, tea rooms and an excellent Visitor Centre with its small museum explaining life in the Hope Valley, plus the Christmas lights and festive activities are very popular with visitors during December. Nearby are the pretty villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Hope and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, while further afield are the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek.
