About this property
Brynamlwg - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
For an ever-enjoyable stay on Cardigan Bay, make this charming coastal dog-friendly cottage your base. Well-appointed for families, the property accommodates six guests and is ideal for those with kids in tow, complete with a snug bunk bedroom and a private garden where young ones can play. Get to know the quirks of the delightful town of Aberaeron, relaxing on the beach (0.5 miles) and frequenting a local pub or restaurant at the end of a busy day. Further afield, the Wales Coast Path and mid-Wales beauty spots can be found, including the neighbouring town of New Quay (7 miles).
Typical of quintessential seaside towns, the façade of this waterfront cottage features a brightly coloured, pastel finish - a delight from the moment you arrive. Step inside and be greeted by a spacious entrance, perfect for storing your coats, shoes, and even the dog’s lead. Enter and be greeted by an inviting lounge with cushy sofas, a Smart TV, and an electric fireplace, the cosiest space for spending time in after your busy day is done. You can also enjoy views of the harbour from the lounge. There is a snug area by the dining room table, perfect for socialising with your loved ones while preparing dinner, complete with a Smart TV and two cosy armchairs. Prepare all of your family’s favourite meals next door in the kitchen, stepping out into the garden to dine alfresco when the sun shines. Back inside, find three generously spaced bedrooms on the first floor: two doubles, both featuring original (non-functioning) cast iron fireplaces, a cosy bunk room, and a spacious family bathroom. There is also plenty of storage space in the bedrooms.
Mooch around the harbour and visit the independent shops in the town centre, all without venturing more than 0.5 miles from your doorstep. Heading out a little further, follow the riverside trail along the River Aeron and venture up to Llanerchaeron (2.5 miles) and the Blaencamel Organic Farm (5 miles) where you can collect local produce to take home and cook. Keen chefs will also love visiting the Afon Mel Honey Farm (7 miles) on the outskirts of New Quay, a chance to learn about the art of beekeeping and grab a pot or two of honey to take home!
