This property is rural, quiet and peaceful with natural beauty all around. If you would like to experience a genuine Idaho farm, amazing views the Tetons to the east and the mountains of West Yellowstone to the north a beautiful starry sky at night, and a rejuvenating experience…this is it!

CELEBRATE TIME GATHERED HERE. This comfortable home is meant for gathering. The main rooms are spacious and have vaulted ceilings. Large windows throughout the home show off impressive views, day and night. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy.

This farmhouse sits at the crest of a hill (elevation 5000') and is surrounded by rolling potato and wheat fields. It has been completely renovated into a modern home with fun features like a big farmhouse sink and unique light fixtures.

The house sits on an acre, surrounded by fields. Views look out over the small rural towns of Rexburg, Sugar City, Teton and Newdale. You will be in awe of the beauty of the stars and moon at night. This is a beautiful property with a down to earth feel in every season.

The outdoor gems in this area are famous! West Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park are each within 1.5 hours, as are three ski resorts—Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole and Kelly Canyon. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy outdoor adventures. Also enjoy the famous St. Anthony Sand Dunes 20 minutes to the north. Drive 3 miles into town and enjoy visiting BYUI, where there are many events such as concerts and plays. Don’t miss Pizza Pie Cafe for the best deal in town. And remember, you are in the middle of a farm field for which Idaho is know —potatoes. Except for the winter when it is very quiet and peaceful, you will see the fields being worked to bring a harvest of potatoes and wheat in the fall.

Beautiful farmhouse

We loved our stay at this unique farmhouse outside of Rexburg. It was a great location while we were visiting kids at BYUI. The view of the mountains cannot be beat out the large kitchen windows.

A slice of heaven

Very family friendly! Even though bedrooms and both family rooms were comfy and inviting, our favorite place in the whole house was the large kitchen! We played games, fixed meals, ate, worked crafts, and did computer work all at the same time! It was awesome. Beautiful eondows to admire the fields and sy

Property was ok, view was amazing.

The property and furniture are well worn. The owner was great to work with. We would go back but hope the owner invests in some repairs and new furniture that’s not 30 years old.

Quiet modern farmhouse feel just minutes from Rexburg

We were looking for a place in Rexburg to spend the Labor Day weekend while bringing my granddaughter to BYUI. Surrounded by fields, this is a sun-filled house that perfectly suited our family for day trips as well as hanging around the house for family chats and games.

Fun Family Time

We enjoyed our stay. The house fit our family of 8 comfortably. There was lots of open space for gathering, and the kids enjoyed exploring the little nooks as well. The sunrise view through the large kitchen window was fantastic, and hummingbirds loved the flowers outside the windows. The house is surrounded by farmland, with a beautiful view of the stars at night, and nice open roads for a morning run. It was quiet and peaceful. The owner was friendly, and you can tell she cares about the property.

Heat did not work so we had to leave the property. We did not feel that it was safe.

We arrived at the property and there was no heat. The owner indicated someone was there that morning to get the unit ready. It was obvious that the heat had not been turned on. They had to call someone to get the heat working but was unsure if it would stay on. We felt that it was unsafe to stay because it was extremely cold during our stay. I had an older couple with me and I did not want to take the chance the heat would go out again during the night. The unit was also not ready as it was dusty on the furniture and a hose in the shower. Overall we felt that no one cared enough to get the house ready after having booked it months in advance for my daughter's graduation from BYU-I. Fortunately, we found a hotel nearby that had availability with reliable heat.

I grew up on an Idaho potato farm. The same farm that this house sits on! I love to travel and have lived in big cities but as they say, you can't take the country out of the girl. I love everything about this country home. Like watching the sun come up in the morning and the moon come up at night with nothing in between except the farms, foothills and mountains. I love watching the fields change with the seasons, love the nice summer breezes and real winter storms. Love the fall because it is harvest time and the spring because that means it's almost time to plant the garden. Love the adventures in the beautiful mountains and rivers that are within an hour drive.

Why they chose this property

This home is unique in that it is in the country, yet close to the university (BYUI) and to the Rexburg, Idaho LDS Temple (10-12 min.) It is also close to the well-known attractions of West Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. Each are within a 2 hour drive. See up close the potato fields that Idaho is known for. Breathe the country air. Open the windows in the summer and enjoy the nice breeze and in the winter, sit on the window seat and watch the snow blow! At all times, relax in this home that is especially nice to gather in with family and friends.
