Chestnuts Seymer Road, 3 bed flat close to town centre and overlooks Swanage Bay

Chestnuts, is a 3 bedroom bright and airy, character filled, apartment, occupying 1st and 2nd floors of listed Georgian building, with great views over The Downs and Swanage Bay. The terrace was built in 1830 by William Morton Pitt, a Member of Parliament representing Dorset. He had a vision of transforming Swanage from a small quarrying and fishing town into a Victorian seaside resort.

Perfect

We spent a lovely few days at Chestnuts. It's a quiet spot with fabulous views and the flat is comfortable and spotless. Only one thing to note is that the stairs up to the first floor are quite steep. We highly recommend the flat to anyone for a quiet break in lovely Swanage

We have owned Chestnuts for about 8 years and it has been a rental during this time. We love the area and my parents have lived in swanage for a number of years.

Why they chose this property

Near to the Sea, close to National Trust, Studland bay, Swanage railway etc etc numerous walks, Jurassic coast and so much to do in the area.

What makes this property unique

The property is full of character being a Grade 2 listed building overlooking Swanage bay with uninterrupted views (apart from a row of Chesnut trees on the Downs!). A great place to watch the world go by especially from the front shared patio area. Just a 3 minute walk down the hill to the beach and town centre.
