Beautiful spot in a great location

This is a very spacious condo for a couple, with amazing views and close proximity to several beaches. Easy and pleasant walk to the Ritz and the beach there, to the tennis garden, and to Kapalua Bay beach with good snorkeling. A number of reviews mentioned wind noise, but Maui can be a windy place and this is an exposed location (hence the great views!). There was definitely wind noise, but we did not find it bothersome One star subtracted from Cleanliness, due to a couple of dead bugs and some ants, but this the tropics, so that is to be expected and not a big deal. The condo was very clean in all other respects. (Note to management: the ants seemed to like the scented Kleenex on the main floor bathroom sink. We move the Kleenex box to the back of the toilet and no more ants)

This was by far our best stay while on Maui

This was by far our best stay while on Maui. This unit was beautiful with an exceptional 180 degree view of the ocean, Kapalua, Honolulu Bay, and the Plantation. We enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on our lanai overlooking the ocean and watched the whales. The unit was well-equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this property for your stay on Maui, it is absolutely incredible, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful location

So we knew to expect issues going back to Maui so soon, but we wanted to help the economy of the state and we love staying at the Kapalua Bay Villas. There was an issue with water (not anyone’s fault) the 1st day we were there. Management was splendid with communication and were making accommodations for plan B. The unit itself needs some tender loving care the upstairs bedroom has to windows that need replacement or fixing. The furniture in th upstairs deck should be updated- didn’t look usable. Both bathrooms could use a Plummer but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful big 1 bedroom condo!

4 1/2 stars... Beautiful big 1 bedroom condo, Parking is very good, all needed supplies were available, Mangement team was very good. Had four maintenance problems that need fixed, I saw a VRBO review from 14 Nov 22 that mentions issues also, so make sure the Dryer, Shower drain, Upstairs toilet and balcony door whistling with wind are fixed before you book. Views are spectacular, wifi is very good, condo is very comfortable. Bed is awesome, except for wind under door, condo is perfectly quiet. Great location.

Beautiful location. Nightmare of a stay.

The location and space was lovely, but the stay was horrible because a work crew was repainting the condo while we were there. The owners didn't notify us in advance and never gave us a chance to choose to change our reservation to another time, so we were stuck. Work started every day at 8am. Extremely loud power tools, loud workers, scaffolding, lack of privacy. I was trying to recover from a serious health issue, but unable to rest unless I left the building all day. No recourse. Had a couple other issues with the condo, but management resolved those as quickly as possible. The only time I ever came to Hawaii and left relieved. Thousands of dollars spent. Compensation offered was $160. What a slap in the face.

Big one bedroom, two level condo.

FIRST TO GOOD: later the tiny bad... Great management. They communicated perfectly all the way. Great parking, one way street or in a lot, but easy and close. Beautiful views from upstairs, downstairs, and the bathroom. Everything you could need was provided. Bed very comfortable, king size in giant room. Very Clean. Very nice floors. Beautiful windows everywhere. THE TINY BAD: mangement wanted to come and fix while we were there, but I declined as I wanted to relax, but there were 4 maintanence issues. 1. Dryer had no heat, so it would not dry, 2. Shower drained very slowly. 3. Upstairs toilet ran on and on, wasting water. 4. Wind blows under door right by bed, causing a loud whistling noise that make it impossible to sleep. Putting a towel down solved the whistling noise. I recommend making sure these 4 things are fixed and you should have a very beautiful stay.

An absolutely STUNNING view!!!! Very comfortable. Would love to come back. Gave 4 instead of 5 because of a few issues that I'm sure will be ironed out by the time the next guest arrives. The view more than makes up for any inconveniences.

Amazing view. Quiet.

The views cannot be beat and are right by our favorite beaches. Condo was spacious. We didn’t use the air conditioner at night because the vent spit little drops water on us as we slept. Doesn’t seem to work well upstairs in the bedroom anyway but the windows and ceiling fan kept us comfortable enough. Some reviews noted problems with the ac. We think this condo is one of the best situated in the resort for both view and convenience.

Lovely vacation rental

This is our fourth stay in Maui and we typically stay at my husband’s family’s residence at a nearby hotel. We wanted to stay in Kapalua again and saw this rental online and fell in love. Could not ask for a better view from this lovely Kapalua Bay Villa unit! The KBM team went out of their way to make our stay special, including chocolates and a beach bag with beach towels. A few days before our arrival they let us know the a/c was broken and could not be fixed until after we left. Krisy offered us a different unit or a discount on our rental. She even greeted us in person to show us the other unit! Great customer servicing and a great place to stay.

I've never been so happy to talk to your company and Maria in my life. She was amazingly receptive and understanding as we were having to cancel our departure travel plans and move from our ocean front villa after 10 days due to incoming Tropical Storm Olivia. Maria was extremely receptive, understanding and assured me with confidence you could do everything possible to meet our immediate needs. Not only did she do that but somehow got our requested villa cleaned, stocked and ready for a early check on such short notice. Chrissy, personally, met us to make sure all was in order. The villa was spotless and we found the furnishings very comfortable including the fine linens and L'Occitane ammenties. We have been renting Kapalua villa's annually for 20 years and have never rented from KBM. We feel blessed to have found them and will not hesitate to contact them when we return. We appreciate so very much their help and exceptional service.

Our stay in Kapalua Bay Villas with KBM Resorts was absolutely stunning

Our stay in Kapalua Bay Villas with KBM was absolutely stunning! All the amenities were provided in our unit, with vast sweeping views of Kapalua & Oneloa Bays. And the included car rental was stellar. We made great use of the beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards provided. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were huge, and we truly felt like we were in paradise. Our only (very minor) gripe was that the sleeper sofa frame was slightly bent, and made it difficult to tuck back away, and that we had a steady stream of ants indoors, but it's the tropics, and they didn't really bother us; we coexisted just fine. The A/C has a learning curve but worked once we understood the timer. After our experience at the Villas with KBM, their communication, and attention to detail, we can NOT see booking with anyone else in Hawaii!! Can???t wait to return and use them again. 5 stars with no close second! Mahalo!!

We had a wonderful time and Kapalua is a fantastic location. The beach is lovely and walkable. It's also nice to be close to the Ritz. It is important to note that the pool isn't heated and there is no staff at the pools at Kapalua Bay Villas, so there is no food or bar service.
