This delightful cottage in Normandy features a barbecue and a pleasant location. Suitable for anyone who enjoys the peace and tranquillity of a beautiful rural setting, and who likes to explore on foot, bicycle, motorbike or car. There is ample parking space. Children can play in the garden we have a selection of games available. Along with our other two cottages, it is possible for larger families or groups to stay. Perfect if you want to explore the Day beaches & WW2 sites as we are only 30 minutes from Omaha Beach. Sainte-Marguerite-d'Elle is a picturesque village located in the northwest of France. The village is located on a hill and offers a beautiful view over the surrounding green valleys and fields. You can visit the medieval church of Sainte-Marguerite, which dates back to the 11th century, and take nice photos with the charming old houses and farms as a backdrop. In the area you will also find numerous hiking trails and cycling routes that lead through the picturesque landscapes of Normandy. A popular nearby attraction is the Château de Balleroy, a beautiful 17th century castle surrounded by extensive gardens and parks. The Granary is sympathetically renovated to retain its rustic charm and character whilst providing all the amenities to enjoy your stay. The raised south-facing sundeck at the front of the property is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets, whilst at the rear, there is a paved patio area with barbecue & circular stone table and benches. Loungers are available to soak up the sun or relax under the shade of our many trees. After a nice day in the region, you can relax in the attractive living room. You can prepare your favorite dishes independently and in peace in the kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful sunset and end the days in style with a snack and a drink of your choice.
