This new safari tent is a wonderful retreat for a couple who want to really relax in a beautiful and clean environment. Enjoy the outdoors in the spacious garden with plenty of garden furniture, so that you can fully enjoy the tranquility.
The kitchen is mobile so you can cook both indoors and outdoors. You can also use the barbecue.

The refrigerator and oven are in the washing-up area, next to the toilet and shower. The bed is made upon arrival and towels are provided. This accommodation is suitable for 2 persons.

The holiday home is quietly located in Montizon next to the house of the hospitable Dutch owners. The village has about 10 houses and is located in the Charente, the region with the most hours of sunshine after Provence.

The soothing peace and quiet in Montizon surprises many holidaymakers. You can enjoy the BBQ on your private terrace and marvel at the beautiful starry sky.

From the holiday home you can follow various walking routes and cycling and mountain bike routes. On Wednesday morning you can visit the large regional market in Piegut Pluviers with local products and small livestock. Weekly markets are very nice in the summer, as is the marche de producteurs, where you can sit at long tables and taste the local delicacies. Fishing is possible in the nearby lakes, horseback riding, mountaineering, canoeing and kayaking are possible at Gorges Du Chambon. The beautiful golf course La Preze (18 holes) is only 3 km away. There are various swimming and water sports activities in the vicinity at Lac de Lavaud or Saint Estephe. Enjoy the restaurants in the area and in Angoulême, which is half an hour's drive away. The castle of la Rochefaldcould is also worth a visit.


But it is especially the peace and quiet that is so nice in Montizon.

La Rochefaucould train station is 15 km away and Bordeaux airport is 120km from here.
