About the host

We are passionate about travel and have experienced the most amazing hotels and rental properties around the world. We wanted to create something that encompasses the best of all our travel experiences, but which goes above and beyond in terms of guest experience. Epic Villa is the second property we have built "from scratch" in Camps Bay and we poured our heart and souls into its planning together with our wonderful architects. We did the interior layout and design ourselves and most of the furnishings are locally custom made in Cape Town according to our own drawings. It was a lot of work, but truly a labour of love! :-)
Why they chose this property
We are resident in Munich, Germany, but fell in love with Cape Town when we first visited 23 years ago. Cape Town has something for everyone - stunning landscapes, incredible wine and food, adventurous activities and warm and welcoming people. All of our guests from all over the world tell us they immediately feel at home in Cape Town.
What makes this property unique
Epic is built on a uniquely wide plot with incredible panoramic views of the mountains, ocean, beach and nature reserve next to the property. Years ago we used to walk by this plot in the mornings and knew that if it ever comes up for sale we would buy it. One day we got the opportunity and every day we are there we can't believe our luck!
