Perfect location

If you want to be in the Pijp this is a great room. It was a small room but we loved the location. We had a quick 2 minutes to the market and 4 minutes to the metro. Well appointed with nice little inside garden patio. Thanks for great memories of Amsterdam!

Not bad

Overall, this stay was fine for us as two people that really just needed a place to store belongings, get ready, and sleep. There were a mixture of positives and negatives, which I’ll outline below. Starting with the good, it’s in a great location! We were close to lots of cafes and shopping and loved stumbling into an open air market just around the corner one morning. For the most part it was very quiet at night. Compared to other accommodations we considered, the price was good. The closet provided tons of room to put away belongings and try to keep things organized. The room was nicely decorated and appeared very clean. Next, the not so good. This place was SMALL. The photos and description aren’t misleading, but we still found ourselves surprised in the space. This really only works if you’re incredibly comfortable with the person you’re traveling with. Open the bathroom door, and you can’t walk around the bed. Take a shower and the floor in front of the toilet will be wet. The Wi-Fi was terrible. I couldn’t get my devices to pick up the signal at all and my partner who was able to connect found it so slow it was useless. We ended up having to get day passes at a coworking space as a result. The bed was far from comfortable. We didn’t have great communication with the host who never responded to our first message and the second one only after we had already checked in (via an email link which felt strange to not have come via the website).

Small but Mighty

This property is small; the online photos are deceiving. The bed is comfortable, the storage in the room is sufficient, the desk area useful. The shower is wonderful, but the bathroom itself is tiny. Wee. Lilliputian. Small. Miniscule. Little. Carnival cruise-like. Having said that, the location can’t be beat. The neighborhood is packed with great restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. Communication with Felix was great the first day or two, then two messages went unanswered. We managed, thanks to a grocery store around the corner, but still would have appreciated fresh towels during our 6-night stay.
