Bayview house is a stunning property, in an elevated position with magnificent views over Looe beach and bay.
The house which has been completely converted in 2015 offers stylish accommodation, with an open plan downstairs living space, leading out onto a large decking area. Parking for one car.
Bayview house is in the heart of the town, but just enough out to feel peaceful & private. The property is on a no through road, with very few vehicles passing.
A perfect setting for a Cornish holiday retreat, the sun comes up & goes down over the decking, the decking area has a table & chairs, sun loungers & gas BBQ.
Lounge with two three seater sofas & chairs, 55’ flat screen mounted TV.
There is a large dining room table & chairs.
Fully well equipped kitchen, with double oven, grill, large stand alone fridge, microwave, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine.
Utility - with 10kg washing machine, dryer, freezer, iron,travel size ironing board & clothes rack.
Downstairs & upstairs separate WC.
Family bathroom includes bath, shower, toilet & vanity basin unit.
King bedroom facing the sea - has a shower & basin, mounted TV, chair, wardrobe, dressing table, two bed side tables with drawers.
King room overlooking the town - has a shower, heated towel rail, toilet & basin, wall mounted TV, seat, wardrobe, dressing table & chair, bed side tables with drawers & lamps.
The property overlooks the historical Cornish fishing town of Looe, a short stroll down to good restaurants, bars and great pubs. The area is host to many festivals of music, food, art and much more. Looe beach is a short wander down from the property, it is a sandy tidal beach, perfect for sandcastles & rockpooling, the beach has cafes, toilet & changing facilities, perfect for families.
Looe is very fortunate to have so many wonderful restaurants & takeaways, everything from the Best seafood restaurant in Cornwall (The Fish market) Italian, Pizza, Greek, Indian, Mexican, Chinese & a choice of excellent Fish & chip shops. Looe has many shops for amenities, including the famous Sarah’s Pasty shop, Pengelly’s fish shop, a farm shop that sells wonderful produce like local meat, cheeses, fruit, veg & artisan bread. Two Co-ops & many more shops.
Looe boasts many boating opportunities, from fishing trips, sea safari, self drive river boats, trips to Polperro & Fowey. Kayaking & paddleboards can be hired in town also.
South East Cornwall is in the enviable position of have many wonderful woodland valleys that meet the sea, great cliff path walks & many accessible beaches.
The walk from Looe to Polperro is a must do, once there The Blue Peter inn is an ideal stop for a crab sandwich & a traditional pint of ale..If walking back is too much, there is a bus service back to Looe, boat returns, tide permitting, also come & go from Polperro & Looe, but these must be booked in advance.

Looe is a special place, we are fortunate to have two rivers that wind down wooded valleys that meet the sea & beautiful safe beaches.
What makes this property unique
Bayview House is in the heart of the town just above the beach, but high enough out to feel peaceful & secluded. The sun comes up & goes down over the decking, the open plan space is a welcoming area for everyone to enjoy.
