When you arrive, drive into this countryside park, surrounded by a million shades of green and located in a peaceful setting. Step inside your holiday lodge and be greeted by a reverse-level living experience, designed to deliver optimum space. The ground floor plays host to three lovely bedrooms. A master with kingsize bed, en-suite bathroom and French style doors leading onto your patio area, great for morning coffee after a great night’s sleep. The other two bedrooms consist of a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. A family bathroom will be found on the ground floor too. The décor throughout is light and airy, with a relaxing feel. Walk up the stairs to a very impressive open plan living space, where the kitchen has plenty of work and storage space, is well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. The living area has super-comfy sofas and delightful, balcony, where you can enjoy a little al-fresco dining or perhaps a favourite beverage after a day of adventures!
Life at Honicombe Manor is all about enjoying time together in style, and your biggest decision will be whether to start your day with a swim in the indoor pool or head to the restaurant for a leisurely breakfast. The seasonal outdoor pool makes the perfect place to enjoy family time on a summer’s day, and then there’s the tennis court for those (pretend!) tournaments.
The spectacular Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offers plenty of choice when it comes to those long country walks with your dogs in tow. The train journey from Gunnislake station is a joy to behold, revealing views and sights to take your breath away. The beautiful Dartmoor National Park has rolling hills and hidden delights whilst the historic naval city of Plymouth has marinas, restaurants, and pubs in addition to a huge range of shops and striking architecture. For those who enjoy the coast, the beaches at Seaton and Downderry are a delight for children of all ages, whilst the harbour towns Looe and Fowey are steeped in history and their narrow streets, cafés and restaurants are well worth discovering. Beach 19 miles.
