Bembridge Old Railway Cottage
The property itself was well equipped with everything we needed including the get you started kit and a pint of milk in the fridge. It was clean throughout, Garden was slightly overgrown front and back, but the kids didn't care.
The cottage we chose as it isn't in the well trodden areas but has easy access to a beach, a couple pubs, and nothing on the I.o.W east cost is more than 30 minutes away. Was a good location to venture to Sandown Shanklin Ventnor and Blackgang down the coast, or Over to Ryde,Newport and Cowes. Even on out last day when we went over to the Needles and then up the west cost,via Colwell and Yarmouth it is only 1hr from Bembridge to the Needles.
For us it was a perfect place to stay in. Communication was great with the Host,
As a family with Autistic and ADHD children their only gripe was "The bedrooms slope a bit" so that speaks volumes on what a great and quirky place the Old Railway Cottage is.
Give it a very slight bit of TLC and it could be truly amazing.
