Wonderful place to stay

The flat is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. There was lots of space and a well stocked kitchen. The rooms were initially quite cold and we needed the extra heating provided. We did have quite a problem to open the gate as the coded that we were sent was wrong and we had to knock on someone's door who came a helped us. Thank you, Alex.

Amazing place

Excellent flat, very luxurious, great place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and I would imagine in the summer even better. Thoroughly recommended as long as you are happy with a few stairs as the flat is first floor.

Miserden

Wonderful flat, we stayed in November and it was warm and cosy. The estate is still fabulous at this time of year with lovely walks from the village. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely Cotswold flat

A lovely flat, very well furnished with everything you could want for a short break. It's a little off the beaten track and would have been better if we had gone in the summer rather than the cold dark November. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and there was a welcoming pack of biscuits and flowers awaiting us. Will visit again.

Wonderful place to spend a few days

Beautiful property with access to an amazing garden, also when it is closed to the public. Miserden is an attractive unspoilt village located near other interesting Cotswold places to visit.
Stayed 4 nights in Aug 2024

Perfect Tranquil Location

We had a really enjoyable weekend. Loved the gardens, walks and after walk drinks at the Carpenters Arms. It’s a beautiful spot to spend time. The flat is a delight, comfortable, roomy and light. If I’m allowed a couple of very minor practical suggestions, maybe hooks on the bedroom door and a seat under bedroom window, or couple of chairs, though we managed fine without.

Stunning location

A spacious well equipped flat in a wonderful setting. The flat being in the grounds of Miserden Park was fabulous, we could stroll around, relax & enjoy them without having to get in a car. There were also suggested walks, with handy maps, that were literally on the doorstep. There’s also a sculpture exhibition to enjoy in the grounds which is on until 18 August - well worth a visit

A nice holiday ;let, but needing a little updating.

We had visited Misdeed gardens early this year, and decided it would be nice to revisit later in the year and on discovering that Miseden House had an holiday accommodation apartment, we booked in for a few nights in early September 24. We again had an enjoyable visit to the gardens and also to Cheltenham and Cirencester which are relatively close to Miseden. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, not necessary ultra modern, as it is in the east wing of the main period house. The kitchen would however have benefitted from having a dishcloth for washing up, and a hand towel that one could dry ones hands on, prior to preparing food, just two small items that would make a big difference to the kitten functionality. For people who are looking to stay in late season, they would have appreciated a more up to date TV., as the one currently in the apartment is very old and short on usable channels and small for the size of the lounge along with poor picture quality. One other factor that spoilt our stay ( not the fault of the apartment ) was that the only pub / restaurant ( Carpenters Arms ) in the village / hamlet, was on its knees in terms of its internal appearance and comfort, The food was no better, a very limited menu, one where there was little flexibility that would cater for individual dietary needs - also the male and female toilets were of a very poor standard and overall the internal appearance of the pub looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for years. - a big disappointment and let down for visitors to the apartment.
