The space
I'm very excited to welcome guests to my newly renovated coastal retreat in the heart of the North East's award-winning coastline. I hope our property forms the start of a memorable stay and I look forward to reading your thoughtful comments in our guest book. This home is located overlooking Whitley Bay beach an area we call home and are very proud of. The 3-bed maisonette is accessible via a private front entrance and immediately takes you up a set of stairs to the main living area. The 3-bed property is then spread over 3 floors with a balcony space located on the second floor.
Our property sleeps up to 5 guests (1 single, 1 double, and 1 king-sized bed). The property is on the doorstep of the famous Spanish City a popular spot for weddings and special events.
Entrance and Ground Floor
The private front door is accessible from street level via a handful of stairs. Once through the front door please remove your shoes and make your way up the stairs into the main living area.
First Floor
The first floor contains a large modern kitchen with an island space. A dining table is located on your left-hand side and is a fantastic space to enjoy throughout the day. To the front of the property is a large living room with a Netflix-enabled smart TV and ample sofa space for all guests. Towards the rear of the property is one of the bathrooms and also the rear door which is an emergency exit only whilst awaiting the refurbishment of the back yard.
Second Floor
The second floor is where the double and single bedrooms are located. We have two unique and memorable spaces to sleep in which I hope will make for a brilliant stay at our home. The second floor is also home to a second living space with beanbags, party-themed lighting, and even a rotating disco ball. To the front of the property, you will have access to a balcony area looking out over Whitley Bay Beach.
Third floor
Accessible via a spiral staircase, the third bedroom is located in the converted loft space. The open-plan bedroom looks out over the second floor, a second full bathroom is also accessible from this floor.
Guest access
Our guests will have access to the entire property throughout your stay. There are only a small number of storage spaces used by our cleaners to store cleaning products and additional items. The property is yours to enjoy however, please be mindful of the downstairs neighbours.
PARKING
The street parking is pay and display and is Monday to Saturday 50p per hour in meters or pay using the Ringo App (location 5872).
Other things to note
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Sainsbury's local a 12-minute walk away or a co-op close to the property.
Disclaimer
- This property is not baby-friendly and does not have a travel cot or high chair.
- The spiral staircases and balcony areas are hazardous for children so please be mindful when booking up.
- This property does have outdoor space in the form of a balcony. The backyard is small and not usable for guests.
- There is no washing machine or drier at the property.

During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
