This was our second time staying at this property. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The entire home is well appointed and has everything you should need, especially the kitchen. We caught some beautiful healthy looking sunfish/bluegills and one decent sized large mouth bass in the lake. Very likely we will rent this home again in the future!
The kids love the kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon. We love the space—it’s perfect. Lots of room for family activities and great private rooms for chilling out. The deck looking out at the lake is perfect for having breakfasts and suppers. Also worth noting is how well-stocked the kitchen is with pots, pans, plates and silverware. We love this cabin.
We stayed at the cabin with our adult children. It was a great weekend and the updates to the cabin are really nice. We enjoyed the pontoon ride and the kids thought the steering wheel was pretty cool.
The reason for the 4 stars is that the housekeeper forgot to turn on the water heater before we arrived and my husband ended up having to do it. We also couldn't find a can opener.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Big Bear Lake home. The weather was pretty spot on which always makes being outdoors fishing and boating so much fun! The grandchildren were able to make it for a few days and they loved it! Fishing, kayaking, paddle boating and paddle boarding brought on so much excitement and laughter. It's great to spend an entire day outdoors and not a lack of things to do. The house was very clean and stocked full of anything & everything one would need. We definitely enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year.
We were looking for a peaceful, lake property that allowed us to be able to relax without feeling the need to have an itinerary or daily plan. This was exactly that. The use of the pontoon, kayaks and paddleboard gave us plenty to do. We caught enough pan fish to make a meal and we made several memories along the way.
The house is as listed. The remodeled areas are great! The bedrooms do need updating but serve their purpose. We used the pontoon as much as the weather allowed. The pontoon is dated and starting to “moss up” but again it was great to have. The outside areas were also great but should be included in the cleaning schedule.
Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend staying and would stay again ourselves.
Thank you for letting us stay at your place! We had a great time! The weather was beautiful, the kids had so much fun swimming, the paddle boat, fishing, and we all enjoyed the pontoon rides. The house is beautiful with plenty of space for 8 people. We will definitely come back!
This is our 2nd stay at Big Bear Lake. The cabin is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed all our meals on the deck as well as games and just lounging.
The deck down by the lake is perfect for your morning coffee and afternoon happy hour.
We filled our days with pontoon excursions around the lake and getting some exercise on the paddle boards and kayaks.
The steps from the dock into the water make the lake very accessible for young and old ones. It’s a nice sandy bottom too.
We can’t wait to return.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin in Webb Lake. Plenty of choices for sleeping, tons of dry firewood, beautiful kitchen that was well stocked, and the view was beautiful.
We are already thinking about doing this same trip again next year
Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home for our little get away.
We will be coming back for a longer stay in the summer, when we can enjoy the lake and all outdoor activities that are available.
We so much enjoyed staying in this beautiful home! Great options to keep everyone happy. We enjoyed the paddleboards and fishing from the pontoon. Caught fish with almost every cast! Would definitely recommend and sray again! Host was always accessible to answer any questions!
Staying at this lovely lakeside getaway was perfect! The owner’s communications were friendly, responsive and helpful, and made us feel like welcome and well cared for guests. The property was beautiful, cozy and comfortable for our extended family. The open floor plan on the main level was conducive for gathering, and there were multiple outdoor spaces in which to enjoy the outdoors and the lovely, clear lake! Our son was impressed by the beautiful and well stocked kitchen, where he found everything he needed. We took advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon boat to fully enjoy lake life. Our 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed the sunlit shallow water near the dock and sandy lake bottom for playing, and she found a small patch of beach and made a sand castle. Plus, if you enjoy birdwatching, you’ll enjoy the goldfinches and hummingbirds that frequent the owner’s bird feeders on the deck; and the pair of loons that make appearances and share their call. All-in-all, a perfect stay!!
We two adults and two children spent three nights in August. We were a bit apprehensive upon arrival because there is no "curb appeal" from the front. But when we entered, we all said "Awesome!" This is a VERY nice home (cottage does not do it justice). Everything is modern and of high quality. There are two bedrooms (queen beds), a bathroom with shower, large kitchen and dining and living area on the main level. Then kitchen has everything you need. New gas stove and new large fridge. There is a large room on the lower level with a queen bed, two single beds, couch and large TV. Also another bathroom with shower. Off the main level is a large deck with two seating areas. There is a short downhill walk to the water. Sand, not muck. On the way down to the water is a large fire pit. There are two kayaks, two paddle boards, a pontoon boat and pedal boat for your use. Our kids (ages 10 and 12) LOVED the pedal boat. You won't go wrong with this rental and could easily spend a week. The value is excellent.
