Weather you are in for a tour around Falkirk Kelpies or for a more accessible home near central Scotland or looking for short term home away from home for work reasons ,we believe our home will be the ideal fit for all your needs.
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place .
The flat is on the first floor (2 flight of stairs of 9 steps) of a Grade B (Which means you would be seeing some historic structure) listed heritage building in the heart of Falkirk town centre . Which means you would be seeing some historic structure.
The host welcomes mindful pet owners .
The apartment is spacious with high ceiling in a Grade B listed building (built in 1902 , has historic significance). It has 3 bedroom, 1 Livingroom/dining room, functional kitchen and a small box utility room.
You will have access to the flat from the main door of the building. If you require car park, please let the host know in advance as the access is through the back and restricted.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a big king size bed and medium firm mattress for comfortable sleep. There is also a cot for the little one. The room has a purposeful wardrobe, desk to work from home and a comfy reading chair. The room outlooks to the main road.
The room has access to an ensuite which is fitted with a shower cubicle, sink and toilet.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed with a king size bed at the bottom and single bed on top. Both have medium firm mattress for comfortable sleep. The room also has a purposeful wardrobe and seat by the window that outlooks the car park.
Across this room is the family bathroom which is fitted with 3 piece suite including a bath tub.
Third Bedroom
The third bedroom is tucked away at the end , behind the kitchen. It has a queen size bed and medium firm mattress for comfortable sleep. The room also has a purposeful desk to work from home, a big fitted wardrobe and a window seat that outlooks to the car park.
Living room and Dining space
At the end of the corridor , there is the living room. It has a 6 seater dining table, sofa, fake fireplace and TV with access to Freeview channel , also has HDMI port should you wish to use your firestick for Amazon/Netflix streaming.
Neighbourhood: There are 5 supermarket store (ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons, LIDL and M&S) in the vicinity and within 5 minutes walking radius.
The town centre has a good selection of cafe (Costa, Nero, Starbucks, Acoustic, Finnegans), pubs, takeaways and restaurants around the apartment.
*** Please note the flat is located right in the town centre and has lot of pubs and café around, which means apart from easy socialising options, there is potential for noise till late at night (especially on Saturday nights) if that is of concern***
Getting around: The flat is 1 minute away from Falkirk Grahamston train station which has good connectivity via train to Edinburgh/Glasgow/Stirling. A minute away from bus stop and cycle hire available in the local neighbourhood. We have 1 car park space available , you can find many paid car parking space in the vicinity.
