About this property
Comfort Urbano a Porta Maggiore by Wonderful Italy
Comfortable apartment near Porta Maggiore and within walking distance of the main attractions of Bologna's historic center.
The attic is on the third floor of a building without an elevator, in a residential and well-serviced area. The entrance opens onto the living area divided between the living room with a double sofa bed, armchair and TV, and a kitchen with dining table, oven, kettle and espresso machine. The sleeping area consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed and large closet.
A bathroom with a bathtub equipped with a shower curtain completes the layout.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heating will be available in the accommodation.
The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauties of Italy.
Bologna, known as the "Dotta" because it is the seat of the oldest university in the West, the "Grassa" for its excellent food and wine and the "Rossa" color that characterizes the historic center, is a wonderful city of art, culture, and commerce. Its soul lies in its medieval historical center, which is among the largest in Europe and full of taverns, shops, and theatres, characterized by almost 40 km of arcades. In the historical center is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of the medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are Giambologna's Neptune Fountain and the Medieval Towers, the Asinelli, and the Garisenda, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in the numerous museums, galleries, and religious buildings. It is impossible to leave Bologna without tasting its food and wine products, including mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla Bolognese accompanied by the well-known DOC wines of the Colli Bolognesi! Rich in exhibitions, fairs, and cultural events, Bologna is a city that can surprise all year round.
The central train station is 3 km away, while the airport can be reached by car in 25 minutes.
