A relaxing stay in a quirky quiet property on the foot of the Quantock Hills with access onto the hills direct from the back gate of the property. Perfect for walking, mountain biking or just sitting and relaxing away from the everyday working week. Idyllic location being in an area of outstanding beauty, close to the sea and within walking distance of local amenities a local restaurant and a village shop. Visit the Harbourside town of Watchet, the medieval village of Dunster and the seaside town of Minehead. Perfect if you have a wedding at the St Audries Wedding venue which is within walking distance or we as hosts can arrange a lift for you for a very small fee. West Somerset Railway is within a short drive with a wonderful ride on a steam train. Kilve Beach is a couple of miles away spend an afternoon on the beach fossil hunting and a meal at the Pub nearby. If you fancy a spot of stargazing you can do so sitting outside the lodge or take a short walk onto Staple plain behind the property. You will love staying at this property it is quiet and homely and comfortable. It is within a village but also on the Quantocks especially if you like walking. The views are stunning from the top and if you are lucky you will see horses and deer as well as many different varieties of birdlife. Breath in fresh air and relax.
