About this property

Host & Stay | The Coach House

Summary:
The Coach House is a traditional holiday home with a modern twist, newly renovated and in a coastal location in the village of Beal. The property has three bedrooms, a bright, spacious kitchen diner, delightful living room, and a large family bathroom. This delightful holiday home is perfect for a UK stay with family and friends. The house is just a short distance from the Holy Island causeway and the market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed so you’ll find plenty to explore nearby.

The Space:
If you are looking for a peaceful break in beautiful Northumberland, look no further than The Coach House.

The Coach House is a lovely period property featuring a neutral colour palette, complete with modern fixtures and fittings throughout.

The living room features two, large, plush sofas and a matching armchair, along with a flat screen Smart TV and fireplace. This really is a relaxing space to enjoy with all the family.

The kitchen and dining space is the perfect place to prepare and enjoy home cooked meals. Fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, the kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook during their self-catering stays.

With seating for six, the whole family can enjoy mealtimes together in the dining area, perfectly situated alongside the kitchen, making the space ideal for social cooking and casual dining.

The three bedrooms are each cosily decorated and designed with calmness in mind, so you are on track for a peaceful night’s sleep. With four beds in total, you have the choice of two doubles or two singles, an ideal configuration if you are travelling as couples or with friends. Each bed is dressed in comfortable bedding and luxury linens. After a day at the beach just fall into one of these relaxing beds and drift off to sleep.

The main bathroom is a bright and well thought out space. Enjoy a long hot soak in the freestanding style or feel refreshed in the walk-in shower. The bathroom is complete with a WC and basin.

The ground floor bedroom, one of the doubles, also has an ensuite on offer with a bathtub and overhead shower.

Outside the property you will find a generously sized garden area with patio and grassed areas, perfect to take in some fresh Northumberland air.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Coach House are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be sent prior to check in.

Private on-site parking is available at The Coach House.

The Neighborhood:
Beal is a Northumberland village in Northumberland situated a short distance inland from the North Sea coast. The village lies on the link road between the A1 and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

Holy Island is a mysterious tidal island that becomes inaccessible when the tide washes over its causeway. When it’s safe to cross the causeway, expect to find charming cafes, an ancient priory, and a castle that teeters on the coastline.

Cobbles, castles, beaches, and boat trips await you in historical Berwick-upon-Tweed. Located on the border of England and Scotland, secrets of a bloody, conflict-filled British history linger in its Elizabethan walls and ruinous castle remains.

Getting Around:
The nearest train station to Beal can be found in Berwick-upon-Tweed where you’ll find direct routes to locations all across the UK including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Galashiels, London, Aberdeen and Plymouth, and all places in between.

A few bus routes can be found running through Beal. Hop on the 477 to visit Berwick-upon-Tweed and Holy Island, take a trip on the X15 to take in the sights of Newcastle, Morpeth and Alnwick, or travel on the X18 to enjoy Seahouses.

The nearest airport is Newcastle International, 55 miles away from Beal.

Interaction with Guests:
We're always available for our guests so do not hesitate to get in touch.
