About this property
Dryslwyn, Aberporth - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 4
Dryslwyn is a cosy, warm, renovated Victorian cottage situated near Rhydlewis, Ceredigion, not far from the coast at Llangrannog. It perfectly combines the coast and countryside. Located in a rural setting looking southwards over the Ceri Valley, yet only four miles from the fantastic Cardigan Bay, this is an excellent choice for a holiday in West Wales. Built in 1899, it is situated above its own wild meadow, offering you a rural haven of peace and tranquillity.
The tastefully decorated cottage maintains its charming Victorian character while providing all the modern comforts with underfloor heating and two wood-burning stoves, ensuring that even those colder nights are cosy and welcoming. The French doors and Juliet balcony overlooking beautiful meadow views allow natural light and fresh air to flood into the main bedroom should you wish. After a walk along the coast path or a day at the beach, the hot tub will go down a treat, and from here, you can admire the wonderful countryside views or enjoy the starry skies.
Dryslwyn is in a superb position, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Penbryn, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth, all within five miles from the cottage. These lovely villages are located on the magnificent Ceredigion Coast Path, known for its incredible views and regular sightings of bottlenose dolphins.
