The house sleeps 10 comfortably and has everything you need. Master bedroom has 1 King bed with a whirlpool tub in the master bath; 2 bedrooms with Queen sized beds; 1 Queen sleeper sofa in the Great Room and a Queen sleeper sofa in the sun room.

Rental also includes microwave, dishwasher, toaster, crock pot, Jen -Air Range and plenty of pots, pans and cookware for preparing your favorite meals at home. Dish television and DVD player, available as well as free access to fiber internet . Lots of books to read, some movies and games available for time spent inside.

Quiet relaxing

As advertised. Owner made contact on arrival day and reviewed check-in. We loved the view and how quiet the entire stay was. The location was good. Only 3 minutes to Stout Point to watch the sunrise and 7 minutes to Mather Lodge for sunset and trails.

Cousins’ Retreat

Very nice house and very clean. We were pleased with how well stocked the house was with Kleenex, paper towels, trash bags, and cleaning supplies for dishes. We loved the fact there were heated blankets on every bed. We also were impressed about the number of blankets available to cover up while in the living room or sunroom. There is a beautiful view in the amazing sunroom. We spent all of our time in that room. We would stay here again!

Fall weekend get away

My family got together for a short get away. The weather was not good but we enjoyed ourselves anyone. Sheila gave me ideas of what to do with a toddler on a rainy day on the mountain. We loved the sunroom at the house. Nice place and we hope we can stay again.

The views!

The view is spectacular. The property is exactly as presented on the VRBO app. The owners gave out absolutely precise instructions which made it easy to check in and use the wifi. The location is perfect for exploring Petit Jean if you can tear yourself away from thepatio. Wonderful time.

Arkansas—A new experience!!

We and our friends had planned a trip to NC unfortunately Hurricane Helene caused a lot of damage to the area we were going so we had to make other plans. We had never spent time in Arkansas so decided to go to Petit ahead Mountain State Park. The house we rented was in a wonderful location—very close to the trails we wanted to hike and within a good distance of golf courses we wanted to play. The living area of the house—especially the sunroom was great with a beautiful view. The host couple went above and beyond by getting espn on the tv so we could watch all the ballgames. There were many supplies included and the house was very clean.

Edge House is a home tucked inside of wooded hillside overlooking beautiful river and close to Petit Jean State Park. Enjoyed driving the area and walking and exploring the fun trails and seeing the wildlife up close. Love the convenience of a home away from home.

Perfecr place to catch up with old friends

We spent our entire time at the Edge House in the glassed porch with the exception of sleeping and sharing meals. We are three old friends who met in college in the '70's. We didn't feel the need to explore except one day. Otherwise it was conversation and puzzeling. Perfect! Tgank you, Edge House. P S. Maybe check on the temperature of the refrigerator...

Fabulous Get Away

We had a wonderful vacation at the Edge House. The view was beautiful, and we enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds. The hiking in Petit Jean is amazing, and Stout's Point is well worth a stop. Communication with the owner was extremely helpful in planning our stay.

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Edge House. It has all the comforts of home. The views of the surrounding area, hummingbirds, and deer were beautiful to see. We enjoyed the close proximity to Petit Jean State Park to do all the hikes and park programs. The sunset Kayak tour was one of our favorites. We met some really nice people at the Honey Farm, Outpost and Coffee Shop. We highly recommend staying here and checking out all the things to do in the area.

Cozy home with an awesome view

This place felt great the moment we arrived. Clean with all the amenities we required. The view out of the sunroom is amazing, or you get the same view from the outdoor patio table. Numerous hummingbirds kept us entertained. Great communication from the owner. We'll definitely plan to return.

In 2017 we purchased the Edge House from the Edgertons and we wanted to continue sharing the remarkable experiences of Petit Jean Mountain from the beautiful Edge House with other families.

With the open design of the home, the view of the Arkansas River and Valley washes in surrounding your time spent inside. You can take in this unforgettable view and all its changes from day into night and season to season, from the climate controlled comfort of the sun room all while enjoying a cup of hot coffee! Then, venture outside for the many viewing and hiking opportunities that await you there.

Being an Arkansas resident we love to spend time hiking the trails and exploring Petit Jean Mountain State Park, dining at Mather Lodge and I love to photograph the stunning views all around the park.

The hike to Cedar Falls is one of my favorites. At the end of the trail you can sit close enough to be cooled by the mist of the falls before starting your hike out or you can make your way under the falls and get a far different perspective. Seasonal changes offers a varied viewing opportunity on the Cedar Falls trail, colors change, plant and flowers are different, water levels change. Every season has its own beauty.

Loving the outdoors like we do, it is easy to get away from everything and enjoy the beauty that abounds in and around the Edge House.

The house is beautiful and comfortable on the inside. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking essentials and all necessary serving items, so that you may enjoy meals in if you decide. There is a gas grill for cooking out and enjoying nature. A fire pit is also available to enjoy on cool nights sitting by fireside. Wifi is available, Direct TV, reading material, and some games if you like cards or board games.

We will work hard to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and help you to enjoy the legandary beauty surrounding the Edge House, high atop Petit Jean Mountain.

What makes this property unique

The original builders thought of everything in the design of this home - like being able to see the view through the entire house, from the entrance to the sunroom. With windows on all sides of the sunroom, you can truly relax and renew 365 days a year in this gorgeous space. It is meant to be comfortable and private whether for your family, a girls getaway, a sweetheart weekend or honeymoon, this is the home for you.

The million dollar view can be seen from most any room in the house - even while you enjoy your Jacuzzi bath for two. The wood stove also makes it nice and warm inside while you watch the snow falling. We love being able to climb out on our large boulders in the back and have some quiet moments in nature.
