Is a wonderful holiday home suitable and equipped for all.
The accommodation on the ground floor comprises an entrance porch, reception hallway, lounge which opens into the dining room which in turn opens through to the modern kitchen with utility area adjacent. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a shower room with toilet, a bathroom and ensuite shower room to the bedroom on the second floor.
To the front of the property, there is an attractive decked terrace with balustrade from which to sit and watch the often spectacular sunsets.
To the rear there is a sheltered courtyard with raised plant beds, garden furniture, BBQ and a small shed for the beach/surf gear.
Living Room
This very light, airy room is simply furnished in contemporary style. Restored floorboards, rugs, leather sofas, and a log burner for use during the winter months make a very comfortable space in which to enjoy the stunning views.
There is a flat screen digital TV and DVD player. There is a small library of books, DVDs and local information and a few games.
The dining area has a modern solid oak table, bench and chairs and comfortably seats six. The oak side board houses the HiFi music system with radio, CD player, WiFi and Bluetooth
Kitchen/Utility Room
The kitchen can be entered from the hallway and from the dining area. It has a fitted kitchen with Bosch integrated gas hob, electric double oven, a large Liebherr fridge with freezer, dishwasher and microwave. It is well equipped to meet any level of self catering needs. From the kitchen you enter the Utility which houses the combi boiler set to give hot water on demand and central heating during the cooler months, a washing machine and tumble dryer plus additional cupboard storage, worktop and sink.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms. The two double rooms have king size beds and fabulous sea and coastal views. The third bedroom is a lovely light and sunny room and has two full size single beds. The bedrooms are furnished in contemporary style with a wardrobe or oak clothes rail, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The beds are all of good quality and are prepared with duvets and white bed linen. House towels are provided.
Bathrooms
The bathroom/shower rooms are fitted with Villeroy & Boch, hans Grohe and Matki fittings. On the first floor there is a shower room and separate bathroom, and on the second floor an ensuite shower room. House towels are provided.
Outside
Private parking for 2 cars is located across the road in front of the house. There is no mains electricity supply at the parking so we are unable to offer charging for electric vehicles. A list of local EV charging points can be supplied.
There is a small courtyard garden at the rear of the house with raised plant beds, garden furniture, BBQ and a small shed for the beach and surf gear. To front there is a decked terrace. It offers wonderful sea views from Clodgy point to the west and in the other direction out along St Ives Bay and the north coast.

About the host
Hosted by Sharon Boss

I have been letting our holiday home for many years and enjoy sharing our place with guests. Our own use ensures that that house is kept well and is very well equipped. Even though I am now back in Cornwall, as a family we still enjoy seaside stays in St Ives. Beach Break, St Ives is great place to holiday and relax.
Why they chose this property
I grew up in Cornwall and have lived away for many years but was lucky enough to purchase a family holiday home approximately 20 years ago which meant we could frequently visit. I am now in even luckier position of living back in West Cornwall permanently.
What makes this property unique
Beach Break has the huge benefit of parking for 2 cars at the property. It is also situated a few minutes walk to the fabulous Porthmeor surfing beach and indeed is in walking distance of all that St Ives offers. It is also very easy to escape the summer visitors. The house location makes it quite easy to come and go from St Ives whilst exploring other areas of Cornwall.
