About this property
Top End Cottage 6 - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
Experience the charm of a traditional Carrstone period cottage with North Norfolk villages and pristine beaches nearby. Ideal for a getaway with friends or family, the cottage boasts a warming wood burner in the cosy lounge and its own private garden for al fresco dining.
Upon entering, the wooden floors, exposed brick feature fireplace, and inviting sofa set the tone for a warm welcome in the reading room/hallway. Whip up culinary delights in the well-equipped kitchen/diner or relax in the lounge on plush sofas in front of the TV and wood burner. There’s also a convenient cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom with a king-size bed awaits, accompanied by an adjacent family bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, one double and one twin, each boast en-suite bathrooms. Venturing into the large enclosed garden, you''ll discover a delightful patio area with an outdoor dining set, perfect for enjoying the great outdoors. A few steps lead to the gravelled section of the garden, which curves around to the lawn area.
Dotted with houses dating back to the 16th century, Ringstead village (0.5 miles) exudes historic charm, complemented by a 17th-century pub. The well-stocked village store is a treasure trove of everyday essentials and local produce. Ringstead Downs lies adjacent to the village, and both the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path are easily accessible. Cycling enthusiasts can explore the Ringstead Loop cycle route, part of the national cycle network, spanning 23 miles. The nearby beaches of Old Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea, and Brancaster offer family-friendly activities such as rock pooling, swimming, windsurfing, and breathtaking sunsets, all within 6 miles of home. The RSPB Bird Reserve at Titchwell (5 miles) and the elegant Georgian village of Burnham Market (9miles) beckon exploration, and don’t miss Holkham Hall (14.5 miles) with its deer park and pinewood-backed beach or the Royal Estate at Sandringham (9 miles).
