About this property
The Dairy, Newport - One Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 2
The Dairy is an old stone building which has been beautifully renovated to a high standard. This charming cottage is located near the peaceful coastal town of Newport. Enjoy the bright and airy open-plan living area and relax after a day of exploring Pembrokeshire and other wonderful surrounding areas.
The Dairy is situated outside the seaside town of Newport, which is home to many lovely independent cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops, and a local produce street market on Mondays. The small bustling town has two stunning and sandy beaches, Newport Sands and The Parrog, one on each side of the estuary. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path goes through Newport. This is a great way of getting to witness some beautiful coastal scenery as well as the most incredible views of Carningli Mountain. Additionally, a great way to see both beaches in Newport is by walking from the Parrog to Newport Sands beach.
The bus stops directly opposite The Dairy, making it ideal to explore Fishguard, a thriving coastal town. Fishguard is split in two; the main township perches on the top of the hill, while Lower Town cups a small river that flows into an idyllic harbour. A little further from the cottage is Cardigan, a historic town in the heart of Ceredigion. Explore the castle, which dominates the town and overlooks the River Teifi.
